My wife and I went to school down there. Great place although it's grown quite a bit since we were there. I like it better when Wilmington was less developed.

My wife was quite put off by the gals (and guys) coming to class or to professor's office hours in their swimsuits. She also got into the thick of those "I'm paying so I should get an 'A'" discussions. WTF? Try showing up and studying next time.

You're right about the traffic; it really, really sucks and the area doesn't have the infrastructure to support it.

my HS advisor neglected to explain my honors english and history classes to UNCW so i didn't get in, ended up going to NCSU instead. I was pissed, but my advisor was also the wrestling couch, so whatcha gonna do? I wouldn't have graduated, anyway. Had fun visiting plenty of times, one of my homies had a house on figure 8, that shit was sick.
