Makes five and a half cups of rice, or many other grains. I've test driven it with Quinoa. Worked like a charm and Quinoa isn't as easy as rice.

The internal bowl is titanium with teflon. I'll live with it. Comes with a spatula, guide and a pretty good rep for its value.

I am not sure if the Zojirushi Micom series use the same controls or not, but some photos of the Sanyo Micom and Zoji Micom models look suspiciously similar.

I acquired mine through a "scratch and dent" seller on amazon.com for about half retail. So far so good.
