They can train for that if they want, but any Russian, of any size or athletic ability will crush them.

Fact: years ago, my girlfriend dragged me to the Bolshoi when they were here on tour. It wasn't hard to drag me there since a) I like looking at hardbodied Russian girls in tight clothes, and b) I knew that if I cleaned up nice and went out for a night of culture, she'd be a raging tiger in the sack that night.

After the show, we went for a late dinner at this little place downtown. Turned out it was owned by a Russian family, and the performers showed up not long after us for a meal/party. After much cheek kissing with the proprieters, the dancers sat at their table, and the owners brought out forty after forty of ice cold Stoli. I was no stranger to hard liquor back then, but I witnessed little ballerinas who weighed maybe a hundred pounds at the outside guzzling straight vodka out of water glasses, and any one of them put away enough booze before their salads came out to put me in the hospital.

Genetics? Training? Both, probably. But I can assure you that @fitters can not do what those girls do, at least as well as they do.
