My buddy is following Pavel, as are most of his RKC buddies.

Worst thing he has to do is take down a giant RKC poster he had on his wall. No tattoo removal required.

Seems like Peter Lakatos is getting his tires pumped quite a bit. Brett's silence is deafening.
Would you rather learn from Steve or Rif? Plus how many RKCs actually live in their cars and bathe in streams and shit?

I met Dave Whitley last year and he's more svelte and taller in person. He can also flat out destroy a bathroom.

I initially liked him in the old days but the more I saw and shit he did to others changed that.
He gulped the Kool Aide and then drank his piss so he could get the most out of it.

I assumed that Primal Move was a complete rip of MovNat, DD taking advantage of Le Carre's failure to properly monetize via book and TV.

Are Grey Cook and Brett Jones still around? That Kallosthenos DVD was the biggest bunch of dicksucking I have ever encountered. Three hours to teach the Turkish get up? Get the fuck out.

i hope this is a time when Pavel uses his reputation and name to unapologetically teach what works with a large portion of programming not just some lifts that can marginalized a bit. it will not be very commercial, and my guess is Easy Strength is very close to the direction he should go.

Jack, could you please elaborate? i.e., "...what works with a large portion of programming...(?) ...not just some lifts that can be marginalized a bit...(?) "

Thanks.

Is there any truth to the rumor that he's planning on working with Anthos Capital?

People were going apeshit over the new RKC2 test requirements that included bent pressing 1/2 BW...it's all circus tricks at this point.

If I was Pavel, the fewer coming with me the better. Dan John and Donnie Thompson would be on very very short list.

Paradoxes of Defense wrote:Here's my best guesses:

Dan John: Pretty much declared already he's with Pavel. No surprises there.

Mark Reifkind: Has already made it clear he's going with Pavel.

Mark Toomey: Can't believe he'd leave, esp. given his corporate position with Ddoor.

Andrea DuCane: Her staying seems a no brainer; in fact, she might be my bet for next Chief instructor (assuming they pick another one, which I think they probably will).

Geoff Neupert: I'm betting on him staying

David Whitley: Hard to say for sure, but he's gotten weirder lately, he's heavily invested in the company as his identity, CKFMS, primal move, etc. And I don't think he'd want to give up his Master status, esp since he might be in line to be new chief, or at least part of a new oligarchy, so I'll bet he stays.

Doug Nepodal: Will probably stay, I guess.

Jon Engum: I bet will stay, don't really know or care though.

Brett Jones and Gray Cook: No way they're leaving behind CKFMS, esp. with that having become such a big part of ddoor/rkc.

Peter Lakatos: Primal move is his thing, and brand new. No way he's walking away from that.

Jeff O'Connor: Staying. Very involved with Brett Jones.

Most of the others I think will stay, but I think a lot of the rank and file RKCs will leave.
It is with pride that I can declare not having heard the names of half of the people you mention.

Hah.

Seriously, can't imagine ADC not staying with DD.
Or Whitley - his whole marketing "Iron Tamer" persona is based on the RKC.
Jones will probably stay, but Cook doesn't need him or DD - the guy already had a rep and a famours product before kettlebells ever came along. FMS is his, not Dragondoor's.
