Van Life
In honor of the 41st Van Nationals taking place in Old Washington, Ohio...Scope some vannage!
Any of ya'll into vans? I love 'em. Right now I'm driving a beat up, primer gray 1969 Chevy van. I rescued it from a guy's back yard and had to have the engine and brakes rebuilt plus a new radiator and heat pump and some other odds and ends.
The future is now:
Van Babe
Gas, grass or ass baby doll.
Twerked

How about 4x4s?
I really dig this new one. They are crazy expensive though.
A couple of interiors:
Sidepipes and jugs.
This one is so good!

Sweet man! What year was it? I enjoy van camping much more than car camping. No tent to set up, just park and chill out.
Other benefits of the van:
1. Ability to sleep discreetly in neighborhoods and parking lots when the wife or girlfriend kicks you out.
2. Possible decrease in speeding tickets. I talked to a police officer who told me he won't pull over vans unless he absolutely has to. He said he doesn't like pulling them over because there could be a lot of people ready to get him loaded in a single van.
3. Ability to haul more stuff than a pickup because you can stack things up the sides and not have the problem of items falling off during the ride.
4. Safer storage of your junk from thieves when you roll in to stuff your face at the local Waffle House.
5. People don't know what you're up to. It's always good to keep 'em guessing.

So what I'm saying is you are either for drugs and blowjobs or you are against vans.

1977, in school bus yellow with the uncommon auto transmission. Totally agree on the enjoyment- you just can't beat having nothing to do but pop the top up. Had a lot of good times in that thing. My wife remembers it fondly, even the time I had to stop every 20 minutes all the way home so she could throw up. She admitted that in retrospect, her second bottle of Amaretto was probably a mistake. One day we'll get another. If I let my wife get her way, one of the split window guys with the safari louvre windshields.Bedlam 1946 wrote:Sweet man! What year was it? I enjoy van camping much more than car camping. Growing up my dad had a 78 Chevy that he used to haul wood and shit like that.
I inherited it when I got a lisence and drove it for about 18 months.
I loved that thing. Vans rule!
not the actual van but the closest thing I could find online

Although it started as a joke from Nappy, I never had the Shugyo! Van, but a few years ago I did have a Toyoyta van for 2 years.
That was a convenient vehicle, I enjoy driving cars more but remebering what I could do with just that little Nip wagon, I think when I consider another vehicle, it will be a full size American van.
And it will be the Shugyo! van because I plan to haul mats in it for my Bizz, among other things.

This picture is so fucking awesome on so many levels. Stating with the blond with The feathered hairdoo, the rocking tits and the Go Go boots.

Schegel....that is really sweet man! I love the pop tops on those things. So cool.
Sanchezero...whoa man, that seems like a pretty fun life. I lived in a pickup truck for a month or so under I-5 in Socal in a vehicular hobo-jungle. There weren't any sweet climber trim prancing about, just dudes pissing and puking out of there vehicles in the early morning. It wasn't as awesome as it seems.

Mick,I had an 85 Chevy van that looked pretty close to that. My wife still bitches about not having it anymore. We took it on vacations to Pa. to Maine-Canada-Florida a number of times.Mickey O'neil wrote:Sweet ass van right here. Anyone know about what year and model?
