I clip a Leatherman a wingman to my pocket if I'm going to the horse barn, and carry a leatherman style cs in my pocket most days...I use the scissors and bottle opener the most

I got both at SAMs for under $20 in a package deal that was steeply discounted after Christmas

I use this INOVA by Nite-Ize all the time for those moments where you need a little bit of light for a short period of time such as searching under car seats or in the back of closets. It has a high, a low, and a flashing setting, all done via a thumb swipe. It also comes with a mini double clip. It's on my key chain at all times. I think it was $12 at Eastern Mountain Sports.

How do you like the gerber clutch? I love mine; small enough for business carry and I actually use it as my key ring fob.

I'm in corporate sales. So everything I carry has to be low key; so as not to frighten the lemmings and nanny state suck ups.

On me:
Left pocket: Gerber clutch and small a throw away key ring flash light
Shirt Pocket: combo Pen\light combo
Right Pocket: Ontario Rat 1 Folder or Boker Subclaw (depends on the local laws) + a credit card multi tool in my credit card money clip.
Right hip pocket: Tuarus TCP

Like many here, I believe in the layering principle. No matter what happens, I'll have something on me when things go bad. Either on me, in my laptop bag or in my car. If I need to get to my car, things are very bad and about to get worse when I break out what I keep in there.

I EDC a mini X 123 by 4 Sevens. The light is smaller than my thumb but can max out at 210 OTF lumens.



Prior to that I EDC'd a Preon 2 penlight which was also pretty good. It went up to 180 lumens on two AAA batteries. I preferred the form factor of this one for pocket carry but the problem I was having with it was that the tailcap switch would keep clicking on in my pocket by accident.

The whole Preon line up is pretty good.

Well, if we're getting into every day carry, I keep this on my keychain. I comes in handy with diaper boxes and getting at the teeny tiny screw that seems to be on the back of every goddamn kid's toy.

I have one of those on my keychain (along with my mini x light)as well. It was on sale for 10 bucks so I thought "what the hell." I've been pleasantly surprised at how useful it's been for me.

On the odd occasion I ONLY just grab my keys, I'm pretty much covered for most tasks.

That's a light day for me.

Normally, besides the above mentioned EDC, I would carry a small fixed blade (Esee Izula), a large one (Bark River Bravo), a shovel, compass, GPS, firestarters, paracord, ropes and some camping gear stuff (I'm currently between jobs and working as a park ranger or sorts, here in Europe).

Obviously, when I go out for dinner I pack light, but unless I'm lifting, fucking or sleeping, you will always catch me with a blade and a flashlight and some pocket multitool (Victorinox Farmer on the keyring).

4Sevens Preon P0, if you don't mind a floody light. Crazy runtimes on a single AAA.

Came today. This thing is a beast compared to my old Kershaw.

I like it, but it has one drawback.

The clip is so stiff, that it won't easily clip onto my pocket. It's solid, fairly heavy, but not too heavy that it's cumbersome to carry (I usually just have keys and a money clip in that pocket anyway), and the blade is impressive.

Gotta figure out how to get the clip to relax a bit. Not sure the best way to do it as everything else I have carried has been more lightweight and light duty.

As of now, I'm pretty happy, but the whole "won't clip onto my pocket thing" is a little bit of an issue.

That's a sweet knife and built to take all kinds of abuse. Kershaw has done a great job with the ZT line.

I have the ZT-0560 (love Hinderer's designs) and its quality is superb (I'm mainly a Spyderco guy, though).

Flip-flopped a lot. There's no limit on concealed folders at the State level, but some cities have weird wording and odd blade limits.

This one has a 3.25" long blade. I was going to get the next knife up with a 4" blade, but this one is already a shade over 6 oz.

BladeHQ has so many knives, it boggles the mind.

And I refused to look at Knife Art after the first time. I would have maxed out my credit card.

I have the same knife but mine is the non serrated version. I'm not a huge fan of serrations but I DO like Kershaw's serrations.
