Well, I can see how this bombed at the box office. Too long and complex. About three movies in one. However I read the comics as a kid and recognized much. Being from Edgar Rice Burroughs it has a good foundation.

The effects were cool, the girl was hot and the blade work looked like fun.

Best part? I loved John's Martial dog creature.

Nothing serious but fun. Watched this till late, late, last night.

I was conned into going to the IMax to see this when it came out. I had no idea what it was about beforehand but that fucking chick was awesome.
