I wonder what's going to come of Boyd being partnered up with the Crowes.
Using Crowes for dirty jobs is like using crackheads. When the job is done you don;t have any issues with putting a bullet in the back of their head or blowing them all up. (We're talking Boyd here, people forget his gift with things that exploded.)

Agreed.
I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of deaths.
I heard this story from a guy at work:
The pilot was written with Boyd Crowder being shot and killed by Raylan. The producers really wanted Walton Goggins to do the role, but he wouldn't do it unless they kept him alive through the entire first season. So they rewrote the ending.
I can't imagine the series being that good if they hadn't kept Boyd around.

Goggins was by far the best part of that series.
The second best part was Goggins's teeth....
Then Ava
Then Ava's Bronco
Then Gutterson....
Raylan clocks in somewhere in the lower tiers below Dewey Crowe.

Dewey Crowe, Ellen May, and Mags Bennett were all top tier. Saying Raylan wasn't as good as them is not an insult to Olyphant-- his job is to be the straight man.

That's fair.

I had breakfast with one of my old acting teachers recently. He said, "Olyphant is amazing. He does so much with his eyes."
