Best/Worst Christmas gifts of 2015

Post by TerryB »

What did you losers get?

I got a CD because somebody loves me. I haven't listed to it yet so I don't know if it's the best or worst gift I got this year.

I got some sweet ass under armor rash guards, mustache wax, Avengers house shoes and pajama pants, some sweet shirts, a coffee grinder, and a bunch of coffee.

My worst gift was a bottle of Pie Hole Pecan Pie Canadian whiskey/pecan pie liqueur. The only reason it's the worst is because it hurts me so bad to drink it in my advanced decrepitude.

A make America great again hat

I won't be voting for trump, but that hat ties people in knots when they see it.

Worst was some bottle of wine that smelled like piss.

I got a free babysitter so the wife and I could go out for drinks and a movie, and a turret press for reloading. Pretty good.

I got this crazy incense holder that I can't even explain, but as I have been using it, it is 'morphing' as in bright green leaves and branches are growing on it, its color is changing, and so on. Johno told me on book face that it's a bong, and that never crossed my mind, but can see the possibility.

We bought a new HDTV and wireless sound system for the living room, too.

My 19-year old granddaughter works at Barnes and Nobles and took it upon herself to find books (granted from the discount bin) that would interest us old fogies. She did an excellent job. I really enjoyed The Rolling Stone Interviews, except for the exchange with Clint Eastwood, which was ruined by an obtuse, humorless, seemingly self-absorbed interviewer.

My mother's package arrived with the standard assortment of tee-shirts and sweatshirts of their local sports team, all of which are several sizes too big. Our standard tradition is for my 'wife' to give me hers and we use give mine to some fat person.

Gravity Dropper seatpost, ugly as fuck but it's so much easier to get centered low over the rear of the bike.

Got some "athleisure" clothes from Qor, it's basically men's lululemon but slightly less gay.

I've got a stock dropper post that came on my Giant Trance, but I wouldn't mind getting a RS Reverb. Really though, the one I have works fine.

Best - Martin Guitar I've been wanting for a while.

Worst - dog situation came to a head the Sunday after Christmas. [-o<
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

The dude was like "Hey, Clint...'Play Misty for Me,' that chick was crazee...I could tell you a thing or two about crazy chicks..."

"What were your high school years like, Mr Eastwood? Did you set any state records?"

"It"s funny... 'Drowning Pool,' I could..."

"Sovereign Citizens, what's their reasoning?"

"Are you calling me a wimp?"
