What'd ya get?

Post by Alfred_E._Neuman »

Wife got us a nice B&B trip in June to a big British car event in Virginia.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

That sounds like a blast.

I got a bunch of stuff that doesn't fit. My wife doesn't understand sous vide.

Walther PPQ Q5 Match - Walther's optics-ready competition gun. It's pretty nice, great trigger.

A bit of this and that. Enjoying my Leatherman Skeletool and 5.11 pants. Had never considered 5.11 pants before because I'm un-tactical, but I inherited a pair when my eldest gained weight. Have found them to be really comfortable and solid. Interested to see if the new ones are as good.

Fucking hell that sucks! And I was down because my bike hasn't sold since I put it up for sale 5 days ago. I really hate that for you, Fuzzy.

stolen outta the apartment building garage, left it down there because the closet where I usually store it was full of Christmas gifts. It's a small building, 15 units, and other people leave stuff down there (surfboards, etc.).

I got some nicer clothes - a shirt from Filson i've been asking for for the last 2-3 years; some adidas kicks. First Christmas with my son who turns 1 next week, he really loved his toys, especially a dump truck and a little giraffe-shaped tricycle (best 25 bucks i've spent!). Was a great holiday up until i realized the bike was gone. Trying not to let it get to me.

Also, Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker. It's like an Insta-Pot, but for half the price.

The only reason I sort my candy is so I can trade it with my friends.

Things I'm psyched about are Crank Brothers double shot bike pedals, nice dining table cover that sets up table for poker game.

17 month old saw his wrapped presents and said "Wooooooooow" which was pretty awesome.

Santa does not wrap his gifts because that's woman's work and he's got better things to spend his time on.

No. That way when the kids get up at 4:00 AM, they can play while you continue to sleep. Just stick a bow on the new bike or Xbox and call it a day.

Under my wife's reign of Christmas morning terror, only the stockings are laid out, and there's nothing in them to play with. Present opening doesn't occur until after breakfast. My kids sleep in. On Christmas Day. Sad.
