Mosfilm studio has an amazing selection of old Russian films on youtube.
Come and See, Bondarchuk's 7 hour War and Peace, Tarkovsky's Stalker and Mirror, even Kurosawa's Dersu Uzala.
The flicks are HD and commercial free as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the rec. Stalker is amazing and disturbing. Come and See is really unsettling, which it would be since it's about the war with Germany. White Tiger is a good late night movie. Not that much of a story but it was well done.
