Abe Lincoln--Vampire Hunter

Post by Turdacious »

The premise is silly (obviously)-- it's more From Dusk Til Dawn than one of the more recent vampire movies. The first third is pretty much what you'd expect, the middle third starts to make it interesting (I thought he was going in kind of a Night Watch direction), and the last third is pretty much like the first. The first villain is the coolest character in the movie, and you barely see him. For some reason, I really wanted to like this movie, but in the end I didn't. Probably worth a watch (unless you're a Civil War buff), but wait for it to come out on DVD.

I saw this stinking pile of nigger shit last night. God...fucking...damn. It's like somebody took the kid from Rushmore, and gave him $150 million to bring one of his goofy plays to the big screen. I can write a better movie with my ass and toilet paper.

My daughter accused me of having watched it before when I started saying Abe's lines before he had a chance to say them. I said, "No baby, this is just what happens when someone with half a brain is exposed to shitty and predictable writing."
