Nandos really is damn good chicken. Had this last summer in London for the first time when I was visiting the UK. Just happened to stop in one with our Subsafe director while wandering... they are freakin' everywhere there, so we thought "WTF, must not be bad if they're everywhere!" Great chicken with a good bit of heat that you can adjust to your tastes. We thought they could do some great business in the states, and lo, 3 months later they were in NYC and DC.
I go regularly now that there's one right off of the Yard.

Chicken place, maybe a chain and def fast foody but not Kenny Rogers (though that was good too), just outside of Union Square in the late 90s/early 00s. Like 15th and...Madison Same side of the street as the movie place if it's still there? Jeez my geography is bad. Anyhow, I really liked it.
