Columbine by Dave Cullen

Post by Bram »

An exceptional book. Documents the evolution of the killers, the police cover-ups, dispels myths, shows how big the killers plan was (they had enough explosives rigged to kill 500 people in the cafeteria alone, they just failed to wire it correctly), chronicles the town, county and survivor's struggle and goes into the workings of the psychopath -- including a glimmer of hope for treatment.

Disturbing, enlightening, engaging and horrific.

A.

Huh. Never heard that about the explosives.

The movie Elephant is entertaining. Check that out.

I'll look into Elephant. I had nightmares after finishing the book, don't know if I want more negativity in my life for a lil bit.
