Winning Time
HBO series about the first year of the 80’s Lakers dynasty. Generally it takes the piss out of laker legends but generally presents a positive picture from of each one. The series focuses on john C Reilly as man-child owner jerry Buss and Quincy Isaiah as magic Johnson— and both are incredible. The picture of the coaching staff is different— all but Pat Reilly are presented as weak fools. Despite this jason Clarke as jerry west dominates every scene he is in. Just when you think it can’t get better they bring in Larry bird. The series is ridiculous and is worth watching.
