This is all kind of funny. I think these kids just don't understand the symbology. They just think it looks cool. A guy I know was designing a new "Badass" logo for a local @fit and came up with 2 offset stylized lightning bolts. It was different but just similar enough to raise the ire of the local non-gentile population. I asked if he understood what he was doing and he just blanked on me until I pointed out what it meant. The light when on and the solution was to knock it back to just one lightning bolt. It still drew complaints from people with nothing better to gripe about.

The whole Organization? or do you refer to the Waffen SS?

The Waffen SS was the Military Arm and many German units from the Army was absorbed into the Waffen SS. They were warriors, soldiers fighting for their nation. Most had alot of dissdain for the camp SS, considering them nothing more than sadist and cowards.

And SS Uniforms from Major and up were snappy and very expenssive for their time.
