A group of Ukrainian women is resorting to drastic measures to protest Moscow's moves in Crimea by calling for a sex strike against Russian men.

Organizers of the campaign "Don't Give It To A Russian" are urging fellow Ukrainian females to stay away from Russian men, the Atlantic reports. T-shirts designed by the campaign are emblazoned with the slogan, followed by a verse from the poem Kateryna by Ukraine's Taras Shevchenko: “O lovely maidens, fall in love, but not with the Moskaly (the Russians).

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, widely regarded as a mouthpiece for the Russian president, proposed a redrawing of the borders of western Ukraine - which would involve regions being incorporated into the territories of Poland, Romania and Hungary.

"A prominent political ally and advisor to Vladimir Putin", really? It's up to you to decide if this is ignorance or a blatant lie, typical for the focused campaign against Putin. I am not fan of any politician, but a journalist with the hint of self-respect should make at least minimal effort to make his claims look at least remotely believable.

I see what you mean. At the same time, there is a universal human instinct to defer responsibility. Mexicans blame America for their problems, Croats blame Serbs, Ukrainians blame Russians, etc. but none of that justifies Russian hegemony over her neighbors. Let Ukrainians hang themselves with their own rope.
