Good post by Crawdaddy. LOL. He's gonna play 3 games, re-injure his neck, and be done for his career. I will feel bad for Manning, but will enjoy laughing at Elway.

Tebow to the Cowboys. Dallas wins 3 of the next 5 SuperBowls under Tebow's steel resolve and unshakeable faith. Tebow retires to focus on charity endeavors and expanding his new Christian-oriented sports televesion network. He's inducted into the NFL Hall Of Fame the following year, foregoing the mandatory waiting period.

Was it possible Elway got worried that if Tebow stayed at Denver and made a name for himself, he might eventually eclipse Elway's legacy there? So he killed that possibly the only way he could, by signing Manning.....?

Doubtful. For all the Tebow Mania crap, he is still a flawed QB.

John Elways is a likely top 5 all time QB. It would be very difficult for any QB to eclipse Elway.

More likely scenario is that Jacksonville signs him and finally sells tickets to their games while continuing to suck.

Of course, another rumor has surfaced.

Given his new 4 year deal or whatever it is.... not likely.

I like the idea of Jacksonville popping a collective Tebowner though. Send him back to Florida where they think he's good.

I think that Jacksonville is a lock. He would sell tickets, sell jerseys and generate interest in the team - no possibility that he would ruin the team either.

Well, except with his shitty play.

He would be a trade up from what they have.

Perhaps I am not paying attention because, even as much as I dislike evangelicals, I don't see the reason for the level of Tebow hate.

All kidding aside, I don't buy the criticism of Tebow-- he's proven over and over that he's a winner on the field. And if John Fox hadn't phoned in the game against the Pats, the Broncos would have had a chance against them.

Tebow in a traditional offense is still an unknown. Jacksonville has a 2nd-year first round pick at QB already. Bringing Tebow in would only slow Gabbert's development. He needs talent around him, not a wildcat system specialist sharing playing time.

And, the hometown bullshit doesn't matter, because the Jags will move to Los Angeles, giving the new owner an instant $300-400MM equity boost.

I suppose it's technically not the first time a religious zealot is going to take down Jets in New York city.

I'd say I can't believe you went there, but this IS IGX.

Oh no you didn't!
And you were right. The Jets, guaranteed to continue to suck!
I don't hate Tebow. I just think someone should've made him a fullback at some point.
I do hate Rex Ryan. This should be fun to watch.

Rex is pretty much a wart on the ass-end of the universe. His epic meltdowns should Tebow actually go to NY (some discussion that Denver has tried to slip the Jets a $5M butt-plug) should be highly entertaining.

No way.

However, following a 1-4 start, NY fans are going to be going batshit after Tebow, inserted into the starting lineup, leads them to three consecutive wins. The next week, a few moments before rallying the team from down 45, a light appears over the stadium and a booming voice announces "Lo and beyond, my greatest creation. I call him, and all believers in him, home!".

With that, you disbelievers shall be cast into eternal damnation and the rest of us will be in awe of GOD, who turns out to be a black jew.

Tim Tebow has been traded to the New York Jets less than 24 hours after Peyton Manning arrived at the Denver Broncos
According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, Tebow has been traded for just a fourth round draft pick

From being the biggest story in sports to being traded for a 4th friggin' round pick in a matter of months. Harsh.

This is just God's way of testing Tebow's faith. And a confirmation of the Jets' propensity to ram shit up their own ass.

A right tackle, linebacker or safety would have been a better investment.

Sparano installed the Wildcat at Miami, so maybe they got Tebow to run it for them.
