This will a testimonial on the Habush, Habush and Davis; James Sokolov or Micheal Hupey & Assoc commericals.

Hearing @Fers rip into one of their Gaymes sponsors is hilarious in the irony...
http://games2009.crossfit.com/sponsors/ ... l#comments
Training Day is proud to be the official sports nutrition sponsor of the 2009 CrossFit Games. Training Day is a research and results driven company, intently focused on improving athletic performance. While most companies create products for bodybuilders, using stimulants and sugars to fuel workouts, our products are designed for elite athletes, providing critical nutritional ingredients that provide sustained energy, increased endurance, and other key nutrients which protect and build lean muscle. A recent clinical study at the University of Oklahoma showed that Game Time, our pre-workout/pre-competition product increased VO2 Max, increased anaerobic capacity, and times-to-exhaustion, making it the perfect pre-workout supplement for CrossFitters.
Note that all of the studies on this new uber-supp are "in review", by the NSCA no less (they've been bought and paid for).
I hope these guys are ready to back up what they are spitting because with this community they are now entering into you better be able to prove any research you are claiming.
...
That being if they are selling a magic potion that will get me a sub 3 Fran than I will line up overnight to get a hold of it.
HA! Like couch and his reams of research?!? The second part would explain the Vitamin S in so many elite @Fers...
The CFJ sets very high standards for the quality of data.
More funniez.
Ahhh...the wonderful world of $upplement$. The secret's in the sauce...er...Proprietary Blend.
Current or future IGXer, no doubt.
I love to see all of the negative comments by everyone throwing in their two cents on Training Day cause I know I can count on beating each of them down when we come head to head. The stuff works, whether you want to believe it or not.
Dude, this guy is on the "magic juice" and he will fucking kick your A$$!!! <<<<q <<<<q <<<<q

I sure hope Training Day has paid into the RRG...hell, their medication interaction list puts them at enough risk:
Warning: Use only as directed. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Contains dairy products. Consult a health care practitioner prior to using this product if you are using Levodopa, fluoride, prednisolone, cyclosporine, antihypertensive drugs, nitroglycerin, estrogen, nitrates, sildenafil, aminophylline, theophylline, nephrotoxic drugs, Phenobarbital or antibiotics. Do not take with products containing caffeine, synephrine of ephedrine. May cause nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, insomnia, cramps or diarrhea. Do not use if you have gout, kidney disease, chronic alcoholism, high blood pressure, gastritis, asthma, liver disease, active herpes virus, renal failure, sickle cell anemia, anemia, hypertension, cardiovascular disease or acrocyanosis. Do not use this product without adequate fluid intake to maintain hydration levels.
:vom:
After that list, I believe that NO @Fers will safely be able to use the product. That goes quadruple for you, couch.

Just a quick look on the webpage.
Game time:
Cordyceps sinensis
Arginine AKG
Kre-Alkalyn
Citrulline AKG
Siberian Ginseng
Taurine
Leucine
Rhodiola Rosea
Sodium
Valine
Isoleucine
Whey Protein Concentrate
Caffeine
Vitamin B12
What an awesome supplement. Take some whey, mix it with red bull and creatine. The only thing you'd be missing would be the herbs rhodiola, cordyceps and ginseng (if your whey contained some BCAAs).
Pre Season:
Waxy Maize Starch:
Creatine Monohydrate:
Leucine:
Alpha Lipoic Acid:
Wow... sensational.

Now look. I've eaten a pice of pie.
When we spin the pie again, the area cut out of the volume of the sphere equals fitness.

Last night, while watching "Training Day" on Spike, they had these short video clips at the end of each commercial break presented by a Men's Health editor. Some of the clips presented bodyweight exercises for toning or bulking or whatever. Among these was the prisoner squat, where you put your hands behind your head and do a squat. (Personally, I think the prisoner stiff-leg deadlift would be more along the lines of what they're looking for.) Another was the bodyweight thruster. No bar. No dumbbells. Nothing. Just your hands.

I don't think that's actually a foot encased in duct tape. I'm assuming it's some kind of busted up cushion, taped up to keep the stuffing in (think college dorm room). As for the rest of this...the stupidity is rampant. The tire will give. If that's really a cushion, it will give, and those weight plates are too light to not slip. I envision the plates sliding towards him, her foot busting his glasses, and the concrete busting her head. All of that will only cement for them that @F is for the hardest core of the hard-core.

Seriously, they couldn't find something 24" high for her to jump on? That's all the height that is.

No, the CF standard for ridiculously high-rep box jumps is 20". They don't make 24" boxes.

And somehow these affiliates feel secure knowing that when sued couch will testify against them and the RRG will never settle?

This has disaster written all over it.

What can we say about this pic?
  • She's not exactly wearing the best shoes for box jumping.
  • That's not his foot under those plates, it's something more solid and non-animated...
  • Following that note, putting his fingers between that duct-taped whatever and the plates is jackassery, unless he hates his sausage fingers already.
  • Those 10# bumpers don't stick very well to each other, hell, the bumpers aren't even well stacked on each other.
  • It's funny that the "spotter" actually thinks that he could help her if the landing area goes completely wonky.
  • If I ever saw some dipshit couches every doing this with my daughter, they'd lose my business and gain all the bad word-of-mouth I could give.
The fact that they post it on their blog and don't look twice at it to go "damn, that looks stoopidly dangerous now that I think about it!", brings it to a whole other level.

If Frieda made it than it has to be 250 1.5 oz bags of sand.
