In a way they already have. When people have held Gl@ssholes feet to the fire and asked "Is the WOD CF?" he would simper around and say it's one iteration. But then Gl@ssface would say what Dan John did was CF, what Ross did was CF. He has effectively said everything is CF. If everything is @fit, nothing is @fit.
And if nothing is @fit then they have no IP to protect.
Things are going awesome at the renegade non-affiliate Crossfit Wildgorillaman. Attendence is up, the whiteboard is getting full, and -unique to our box- the 100lb plates get used a lot.

I've been using 531 as prep for the raw powerlifting meet at the Arnold Classic this March. I like being able to walk into a competition and know what my three attempts will be - this program takes the guess work out as my first attempt is what I can do for five reps, the second is what I can do for three and knowing the single makes it easy.
My raw lifts are skyrocketing across the board in terms of both my 85-95% for reps and single rep maxes. I lift three times a week: squat, bench + full ROM HSPUs (in place of shoulder presses) and deadlift along with three 10 minute metcons a week. I have many years of lifting experience and I was an International Elite ranked Powerlifter in the early 90s (wearing every bit of allowable gear). This program is more productive than any other I have tried for strength gains in these lifts. Metcons are showing only a small increase in time and in some cases showing improvement.

I wouldn't throw a stone in this case.
I don't know if she did another meet after this one to get the 733#, but here were her numbers from the 100% RAW World Champs in Vegas (I saw all these lifts):
Kelly Moore - WI F-Open, F-M (45-49)
BW 115.3#
Class 123#
Squat 110kg (WR)
Bench 80kg (WR)
Dead 157.5kg (WR)
Total 722.01# (WR, totaled Elite for 100% RAW)
Records are here: http://www.rawpowerlifting.com/records/ ... ecords.pdf
She made them all look like training weights. Didn't even use a belt. As she was a PLer before @F, this is all well within her wheelhouse. If she likes 5/3/1, I'd say @Fers should shut up and take notice. Her use of shorter GPP sessions should also be noted by them (alas, it won't be).

Small digression here, but for the PL people here, isn't this kind of a whacky set of numbers? I get the idea of conservative openers, but surely the chance of you missing your 5RM is less than zero, and the chance of you missing your 3RM is close to it. Seems like a waste of a couple attempts.
Because there's all sorts of shit that can happen to fuck you up. Just off the top of my head:
1. Weigh in went bad, had to jog in place in hot shower with sauna suit on for an hour.
2. Sat in the hot tub too long the night before, lost muscle tonus.
3. Drank too much the night before.
4. Got lucky the night before.
5. Ate some shitty food and now are puking.
6. You've been training on plates that are ~10#s lighter than the comp plates (this is way more common than you think)
7. Your fucking bench shirt ripped during warm ups.
8. You laid down on the warm up bench and a staple ripped your head open (7+8 happened to the same guy in the same meet)
9. Your nerves give you the shits.
10. Your asshole buddy in the warm up room isn't paying attention to the bar and loaded up 45# more on one end.
However, on the the other hand, you are correct...very conservative numbers.
It ususally goes like this:
Opener - gimme
Second lift 1 - if opener was smoked, might go for small PR
Second lift 2 - if opener was hard, might go to match previous PR.
Third lift - PR attempt or skip.
If you are an 800+ bencher, your attempts look like this.
Opener: 845 - miss because of shirt groove.
Second: 875 - Put on new double denim kevlar Inzer MONGOLOID Custom. - miss because shirt was too tight.
Third: 915 - good lift. Ricocheted against uprights, but since you were in Shaf's Glory Hole Unlimited Buttfuck Federation (SGHBFF) it was THREE WHITE LIGHTS MOTHERFUCKER!

Continuing on that note, the number of people bombing in that RAW meet was outrageous IMO. Never doubt the power of Vegas to screw your shit up. When I saw all the bombing ahead of me, I knew something was amiss and I went even more conservative in my openers.
I actually like that 5/3/1 approach to the 3 lifts, I'm going to use a modified version of it next time.

Whatever, she was a continuing disapointment. Real potential, but she had big boots to fill and she failed to measure up. I had really hoped for a minute there that we had a new @fit star on our hands.

My guess is her rampant narcissism will kick in sooner or later for another run at IGx immortality.

You letting in three-boards worth of fabric under the shirt too?
Lulz at the expense of the ugliest pig on the planet, Renee Lee. She tries too hard to impress certain other @fitters - maybe it's because her pussy is dusty from severe under use.

If it was just distance from the ocean then the plains would be even drier... but they're not. Hell, Phoenix is only a 6 hour drive from San Diego, and Death Valley is between the two!
