I didn't, but hadn't really thought to look either. Then again, every time Facebook recommends syaigh to me, I think "oh, that must be syaigh" and then I forget who she is 5 minutes later.

And he's way more Uncle Fester than Elmer Fudd.

Dammit!

Strangely enough WGM looks almost exactly as I pictured. Only with less back hair.

I knew that Pukie shit was fake b/c WGM ain't no "successful" businessman

He's a pervert and a degenirate photoshopper who's out to sabotage HQ!

It's funny though how bent out of shape Pukie got over some perceived character attack when HQ and Crossfit are full of lies and got their popularity from character attacks and exploiting hot chicks.

I'm still amazed someone at HQ actually had the "good idea" to make a pukie page and act like an asshole online...

What other large, profitable company does that? None...

Christ I hope Reebok fucks them hard. I mean like first night in prison welcome to the bitch club hard.

Nope. Me too. I actually haven't ever been told who WGM is, so count me among the niggers who still don't really know who he is. Nor do I care.

I prefer knowing him online as WGM.

I always thought he was actually a gorilla. Though I guess he would've had a better total if he were a gorilla. I don't mean that as an insult, a gorilla would have a friggin' intense total.

I especially like how an anonymous windbag, "Pukie" likes to put someone else's face up online.

In other words, don’t get too excited that I was wrong on this one. Vomiting clowns don’t have any pride to hurt anyway, and I was completely right about Distad being an unethical pile of dog-squeeze.
Couch Greg Glassman got something right this weekend. Give him credit for that.

Personally, I wouldn't have posted a link to the couch thread like he did. True believers who get sucked in and start reading come out the other side as bitter apostates.

A recent addition.

In February 2011, I had just experienced a miscarriage in January and subsequent surgery. I had continued to crossfit up until January 15, but obviously stopped when I had surgery the 18th. I started crossfitting again after Doctor clearance on Feb 15. Then I found out I was pregnant again March 15.

I have a friend whose wife got into @fit. To my knowledge she isn't on the koolaid, it's just a fun way for her to lose weight and "get in shape". She posted on FB about a WAD she did a couple of weeks after she announced a pregnancy.
I exchanged a couple of PMs with Syaigh where she outlined the dangers of high intensity work outs while pregnant. I shared the info with my buddy's wife and she quickly nixed that shit until after her delivery, so thanks to Syaigh.
If she's cool with it I'll C&P it here for everyone.

Here's what Syaigh said about pregnant @fit:
First of all, if you get overheated, baby can't cool down. This is also why pregnant women are told to stay out of hot tubs. So, intensity needs to be dialed back a lot.

You need to keep your heart rate under 140 bpm. Baby can usually get enough oxygen, but with a supremely high heart rate, it makes it difficult.

When pregnant, your body produces a hormone called relaxin that allows your ligaments and tendons to stretch to allow for the baby to get through the birth canal. Extreme stretching or pulling on tendons and ligaments (pullups, etc.) can cause irreversible damage because they are much more susceptible to overstretching. Can cause one to develop hip dysplasia, shoulder and other joint issues, and diastasis recti. Diastasis occurs naturally during pregnancy, it is the stretching of the connective tissue that holds the rectus abdominus together. If it gets overstretched (or you have weak connective tissue), it won't come back together and you end up with a permanent pot belly.

Lastly, if you suffer falls in the last half of pregnancy, there is a risk of placental abruption. This means that the placenta detaches from the uterine wall and the baby bleeds to death. This can happen spontaneously as well, but my husband who is an ER physician has seen this happen from falls and domestic violence more than enough times for me to believe it is a serious risk.

Jumping and hanging from things while pregnant is just not a good idea.

I won't claim to know what goes on hormonally while exercising when pregnant but on the CF pregnant forums, there are a lot of miscarriages reported. I have friends who are figure and fitness competitors and a lot of them had miscarriages and had trouble conceiving when training at that intensity level.

I would tell her that its okay to do some basic circuits with light implements (not for time), but there is no reason to be lifting super heavy and especially not doing any jumping/hanging/kipping, etc. The risk to benefit ratio is too high. Just getting out and walking/jogging with muscle endurance circuits is good.

On that note...the delusions are strong with these ones. How going to the hospital for 3 days, getting steroid shots, and being watched for preterm labor and placetal abruption equals doing well, I'm not quite sure. The best news of the below post is probably that they got her to stop @F before anything really bad happened.

Wanted to let you guys know that I spent 3 days in the hospital last week and now I am on some restrictions. They are watching me for preterm labor and placental abruption. Anyway.... bad news is no more CF for me until this baby comes. Good news is he is looking great and doing well. I had two steroid shots last week too so I am thinking that plus all my CF the last 7.5 months and he will be a really strong little guy!!

Jesus. Can you imagine god forbid if you're baby was born with some sort of problem, and for the rest of your life you wondered if that problem was a result of 7 months of stupidity? How do these people live with themselves? It's the equivalent of drink driving because you're a race driver and drivings your thing, and then looking at the kid you paralyzed in the hospital and saying ''that drink driving accident will make him stronger''. Jesus christ.

What a self-centered bitch. She is going to do one of the greatest things a woman can--behind making a good sloppy joe and folding hospital corners--and all she cares about is herself.
