These are just allegations... maybe they're true, maybe other shit we don't know about also happened?

People don't want to believe the worse about their friends. They pretend that shit isn't really happening. They don't notice stuff. Being in a position of Authority means that you have to sometimes ignore things, lie to yourself and others. Hierarchies breed this kind of thinking which is why you can't necessarily trust them to do the right thing.

the university of texas has a 27 "pink book" (that's it's actual name) of gender studies. the university of oklahoma has 63 professors who teach gender studies. just a couple of examples.

I think I didn't make my point well. You argued that institutions of higher learning should not be promoting homosexuality, and that they should give preference to good, wholesome, family men. I don't particularly disagree, but since Sandusky gave the appearance of a good, wholesome, family man he would have been precisely the kind of guy given preference under your system.
