I'm lightly following the Chauvin trial. The prosecution just presented a medical expert on breathing who testified that Floyd died from restricted breathing, not heart attack or fentanyl OD, as maintained by the Chauvin's defense lawyer.
If the MD is right, my question: How to distinguish the breathing restriction caused by Chauvin vs. that caused by the officer kneeling on Floyd's back? Seems like this opens up the opportunity for the defense to put the other officer (Keung?) on trial.

Re: Chauvin Trial - Medical/Legal Question
Medical "facts" are not going to decide this trial, I'm afraid, but I understand your question and to me, yes, it would open up that type of rebuttal.
