As opposed to the normal linear progression of infectious disease?

The vaccine is a GMO created in tobacco plants. It's surprisingly effective so far. I'd imagine hipsters will not use GMO's and Soccer Mom's don't believe in vaccines so they both will perish.
Lack of sanitation will spread the disease. Like many plagues.
Scary for third world, not so much where we have hospitals, CDC, etc.
