Got this when trying to append a post to my training log:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /phpBB2/posting.php on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Got the error in both Firefox and Chrome.

Same result.

Tried in Firefox only. Also logged-out and logged back in; still same result.

EDIT: But I can post in Mickey's log. Weird.

Odd behavior. Intermittent errors – at first it seemed I was able to post "short" posts, but not long ones. I edited a short post to make it longer, and it would take it up to a point, but then give me the same error when I made it even longer. But then a re-edited and got the long version in, so maybe the post length is a red herring, and it was some other intermittent issue.

Embedded youtube vids seem to be fucked.

Except there's one posted in the random vids thread, dated Thursday June 1 around 7pm, that *IS* working:

Quotes no longer show the name of the user who is being quoted. Just says "quote", not who. In the old days it would say "Fatcat said..." or something like that. Is that changeable?

Along those lines: in some forums, the quote contains an unobtrusive link to the original post, so you could backtrack if you wanted to. That would be a "nice to have", if it's easy.

(I'm much more interested in embedded YouTube vids, than either of these.)

I don't seem to be able to send private messages. I press "submit", but the message stays in the Oubox folder and does not show up in "Sent". Something wrong with the system or am I missing something?

So, put a space between the end of your URL, and the closing youtube tag. Something to help the board software recognize where the URL ends and the closing tag begins. I guess the "&t=" parameter does that somehow.
