Very good. I can get incredible local stuff but am without scruple wrt scrapple. Had them all and will again. All different.

I do cut thick slices and fry it hard so crispy outside and creamy inside. But then diner deep fried scrapple is good too. As is thin sliced.

It's pretty much a pate made from pork offal with some winter time spices. And that is what it tastes like but fried. Sweet things set it off. I think peak backwoods farmer is grape jelly. But apple butter is good. As is ketchup and maple syrup. Fried spam is in same neck of the woods. But texture is different.
