I first heard about ketamine a decade ago as a party drug. Then again about five years ago as part of psychedelic treatments along with ayahuasca and psilocybin. I've never tried it, nor do I plan to, but it's usage has continued to grow. This morning, I was talking to a wealthy dad in his late 40's at the local cafe and he mentioned that he regularly does ketamine. My old next door neighbor now runs ketamine retreats.
I think it's good to be wary of any psychoactive substance, and this article definitely shows that ketamine has a side that can be abused, with horrific side effects.

The dark side of ketamine
A lot of my friends took ketamine recreationally. The horrors of a K hole I wanted no part of.
