I let my subscription go last November and haven't renewed, primarily because his whining and celebrity obsessed wife were irking the shit out of me-and I was a fan for years.

What the hell is he talking about all day now that he can't talk about leaving in December? Is the show any better?

I jumped to O and A. Too much whining and too much Howard.

After the shit with Artie, I quit downloading the shows off Usenet.

Funny, I just picked up listening occasionally. A lot of it is very self-absorbed and difficult for a new listener to get into.

I enjoy the general dipshittery of Jason Ellis, though.

IDK, man. I hear a lot of people bitch about the show, but I still dig it.
It goes on for FIVE FUCKING HOURS so it can get boring and tedious, but it's always been like that. Even back when he was on FM and I was landscaping with headphones on I couldn't take a whole show.
Dude's funny and I'll always be a fan.
The Artie years were the best, though...no doubt.

I got the first show back after the new year and thought it was solid.

The show got better after he returned in the new year. It always goes downhill for a while when he's preoccupied with something.

The show still suffers from Artie's absence. The news is still good though. I enjoyed the personality test stuff this week, as well as the dueling Robin songs.

Bad Howard is still 100X better than 99.9% of what's on the radio.

Yeah, I've been listening to Ellis since his show first aired. I like it.

Ellis is good. Howard 101 would be better with him than with BTLS. I'm betting they'll move either him or O&A into Bubba's slot.
