Funny thing but no it wasn't. I was sorely disappointed and wrote the original post from my Mac Book Pro before going on a fixie ride. Also, they actually expect me to shave! Wtf?


*DISCLAIMER* I have never had enough money to buy a Mac Book nor do I have a beard. I do own a fixie but that is due to formerly being on a cycling team and is not in any way trendy looking

I'd research my heritage and see if I could become an official member of a recognized tribe based on family oral history and any census data on your family. I bet an ancestor along the way owned up to it to the census man.
FYI, most Southern white boys like us have at least a little Native American blood. My family looks like we just got off the boat from Ireland, but I have more than one great great grandparent that was Native American. I thought I was 1/16 Cherokee, than I learned I had some other NA blood in different ancestral branches. So it looks like I'm at least 1/8, if not more. A lot of the Scots-Irish immigrants to the South married women from the "civilized" tribes, many of these were strategic marriages. Lots of the chief's of civilized tribes were mixed-race "white" men. Basically, powerful Scottish immigrants inter-married with powerful NA families and became chiefs.
