Woodrow Wilson and the Lost Peace

Post by Turdacious »

by Thomas A. Bailey. About Wilson's efforts at Versailles to create the League of Nations. Goes into the politics and realities of peacemaking of all the major players and several of the minor ones (including ones you may not normally think of like the Slavs, Japanese, and Chinese). Solid on both the domestic and international sides. Written during WWII when the failure of Versailles was well known. A relatively short and readable history. Those who liked Bobbitt's Shield of Achilles will like this.
