Foyle's War

Post by Turdacious »

Detective series set in the UK during WWII. It's a pretty typical Brit whodunit with a lot of twists and turns. I'm only in a few episodes, but the characters are strong and unique.

PBS watchers and Anglophiles are probably already familiar with this show. IMO, the biggest weakness is that it moves pretty slow at times. The most unique aspect is how it goes into a lot of home front war issues in some depth. It seems pretty faithful to the period. I like it.
