RDB,

Yes , except for the most of supers LOTS of powerlifters have incredible physiques> Gene Bell, Ed Coan,Kirk karwoski,Tony Conyers, Jesse Kellum, etc. etc. Tons of solid muscle. AS far as READY to Defend, well I'm talking about the contest as it is now and the attributes it tests.

Rif,

TSC was designed by Pavel and was stupid as hell. Nobody wanted to do it. A fucking uniform requirement? Gimme a break.

And anyway it wasn't the event du jour over at DD until the diaspora scattered us to the wind.

There is lots of history you don't know. The TSC is symbolic of bigger problems at DD.

And anyway the PttP DL team is where the action is now.

well it figures you would scroll down quickly to the bodybuilding pictures instead of the powerlifters with solid physiques you asked about.

OOh the secret history I dont know about. wow, now I know where all this anger you have comes from; getting kicked out of DD. The TSC to me is a game, like all sports, invented by guys who wanted to play such. Has no other real meaning than that.

GS used to have a press in the comp too.Rules and games change.

Rif,

Many have tried to reason with me and been wholly unsuccessful. In the end they always ended up covered in shit and I remained the same.

You don't even know why you are arguing with me now. I have had many agree with me and I have exhibited much true knowledge about my chosen sport.

How you can be attested to as the real deal and knowing your shit and yet still spout the DD party line down to every jot and tittle is an anomaly that I do not care to investigate any further.

Please trouble me no more. You are boring me.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble could you please edit your post and get rid of the insanely long link that is fucking with the page margins?

TIA

As long as it's not hardstyle nut massaging. That's painful.

Who's the lucky guy?
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Hate to go back to the original topic but snatch is a party trick lift for the most part, KB or BB.

Discuss amongst yourselves.

i also doubt any of the couches girls could have hung with us yesterday on shirt BP day. The boyz either for that matter. We also never puked and had a lot of fun.

Can't the same argument be said of all that gear?

That ought to spike it to over 20K.

Jack,

I agree. Great for GS but all I need are Swings.

OK, but enquiring minds want to know: why the radical 180 departure from kettleball snatches? Your training was Flagship training for pre-GS, pre-H@rdstyle kettleball work. Lots of sets with low reps, ect. Many emulated your training model. The snatch was a core lift of yours forever, it seemed.

Is the kettleball snatch not the 'Czar of kettleball lifts'? Is it not 'fluid and vicious'? Can it not 'humble the most studly powerlifter'?

What made you change your opinion after several years of training that lift?

I'm seeing a 25k thread developing....

If the objective is to puke, I can design a supplement that makes it inevitable. A little Skoal spit, a little syrup of ippecac, one pull-up and away you go.

Why hasn't Steve Maxwell posted on DD much (and offered none of his normally prolific advices) since the alleged online spat prior to the UNLOCK seminar???

30K, easy!
