Wolf of Wall Street

Post by Texas Red »

It's no Goodfellas, but Scorsese is in solid form. I've seen almost all his films, and this is far and away the funniest thing he's produced. All the performances are excellent, and there is an abundance of high-grade ass on display throughout the film. Funny enough, the strongest bit of acting may have been by Matthew McConaughey, though it's a fleeting appearance:

On a side note, I didn't realize quaaludes were such a badass drug - makes me wish I'd tried them in my younger days. Can anyone verify their efficacy based on personal experience?

Overall: It drags a touch at the end, but still well worth seeing. It's easily the funniest film I've seen in a long while.

Solid, but goddamn does Marty need to start making two hour movies again. This material did not justify three hours in the theater.

It was one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. If it wasn't for the chicks, I would have walked out.

What a steaming pile of shit.
