Fury

Post by johno »

Well worth watching. Pitt carried the movie, and LeBoef was good as the new kid. Gritty, and done with respect for the men who were the tip of the spear in WWII.

I'm looking forward to this one...glad to hear that it sounds as good as I'd hoped.
Thanks johno!

Fuck any movie that has LeBoef in it. Seriously. I'll wait to torrent it or watch it on cable.

Being heterosexual, I hate LeBoof. Same for DiCaprio and Bieber. But in Fury, I didn't even realize LaBoof was LaBoof. If that matters to anyone.

Fury does have a tank battle that nearly equals the beach landing in Saving Private Ryan.
Character-development wise & acting wise is the equal or superior to SPR. Also, an interesting take on faith in war.

No opinion on Lebouf, but this was on the front page of Reddit and I clicked on it. He tells a pretty funny story about how he got blotto and was arrested.

LeBoef played Bible, new kid was somebody else.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Alexandra Daddario is in Fury? I'm on my way to get tickets.

Saw it yesterday, liked it very much. I though Pitt did a good job. LeBoof was fine.
Pretty much the character I liked the least was "Coon-Ass" Jon Bernthal, which at times seemed as douchbaggy as when he played Shane on Walking Dead.
