The Flash on CW
I feel like the happiest kid in the world. All the movies, tv shows, cartoons, and toys I wanted as a kid are becoming a reality. I won't buy the toys but I'll watch the fuck out of some superhero tv shows, cartoons, and movies.
The new Flash series no CW pilot is off the chain. We get a sneak peak of Zoom, a hint about Grodd, the Weather Wizard, and more to come.
I hope they don't overload it with too many side characters but gawddamn I'm excited about seeing the Atom, Firstorm, and maybe even a Flash Point Paradox story in live action.
Watch it motherfuckers. You didn't miss much in the first episode so you won't be lost and you can always torrent that shit.
On a side note I picked up the original TV series on DVD for $9.99 the other day. Looking forward to watching that.

Going to check it out on Hulu tonight. Big fan of Arrow so I have high
expectations. On a side note - Gotham is pretty awesome too.

Flash...not a good nickname with the women. Neither is The Atom.
Don’t believe everything you think.
Re: The Flash on CW
Is The Flash better than Arrow. I couldn't make it through the first season of Arrow.
But Gotham is good.
But Gotham is good.

I think it's better. I'm struggling to get through season one of Arrow myself. All my geek friends say it gets better after the first season.Pinky wrote:Is The Flash better than Arrow. I couldn't make it through the first season of Arrow. But Gotham is good.
Gotham is on my dvr waiting to be watched.
Re: The Flash on CW
I think I managed to watch 4 episodes of Arrow.

Re: The Flash on CW
Arrow is fun, and it has consistently improved over the course of the show. Of course, I watch it with a seven year old boy so...YMMV.

I didn't read this article, just thought it was funny a gay actor played a gay hero.

And here I thought The CW was only good for Gossip Girl.

Re: The Flash on CW
I was in the same boat as you with Arrow, but took the advice on this thread and started season 2 of Arrow (streaming on Netflix). They toned down the teenbeat melodrama, and upped the quality of the storylines. I'm not sure whether or not it's worth watching the rest of season 1, but season 2 is solid so far (I'm through episode 6). I'm liking it better than I did the good part of the first season. It's got a bit of a Denny O'Neil vibe that they've done pretty well, and they've really started to add more classic Green Arrow elements.Pinky wrote:Is The Flash better than Arrow. Oh yeah, and she steals the show in more ways than one:

Mark Hamill kills it. Definitely Frank Gorshin class.

The Flash isn't played by that little gay kid anymore.
And this show is pretty awesome. I like Arrow, too.
I couldn't stand it when I first watched, but it's a fun show.
