I found this on Netflix but it's a Showtime product.
Essentially every gothic horror story rolled into one series. Pretty dark and graphic stuff in a lot of episodes but it's quite well done. I never paid much attention to Eva Green and she didn't grab me in the first few episodes but when they let her loose she's pretty amazing.

Eva Green's tormented soul act gets tiresome and overdone in short order. Rory Kinnear's Frankenstein's monster is much better in that regard. Be sure to stop watching after season two. It will save you some disappointment.

In season 2 and remain interested but the gay is running too strong for my tastes. It, and some of the feminist stuff, feels like it had to be laid on to check a box.
I do like the Frankenstein character.
