The boks are good and it's a shame they couldn't do the series Justice.

I've heard the books are quite good. I was surprised at how bad the pilot was.

I'll watch again this Sunday to see whether the pilot was just weak, but this all just makes me that more excited for HOMELAND, and Boardwalk Empire.

Just watched this on-demand with the girlfriend. Not great, but didn't "suck" imo. Kinda dry, but a strong cast. Seems like it has potential at least. May watch a few more in my copious free time.

Make up your mind already. Did it suck or is it a piece of shit? Jeebus, talk about indecisive! :-"

Thanks for the clarification baff.

I'll give it another chance before I give it a rating though.

I just want you to know that how I view you as a human being is dependent on the rating you give this show. I don't discriminate based on race, but i do based on TV. Don't fuck this up.

This was as disappointing as it was when they made Confederate Dead in Electric Mist or whatever into a movie.

Aye aye your great ass-munchiness! I'll get right on that shit as soon as I see the last of the fucking movers and get some idiot-box capability in the new house.

But you're going to have to be patient and hold off on that whole judgment thing. You know how the wheels of gubment contracted shit grind - slow.

Pilot was disappointing, but should have been much better. Guy Ritchie wannabees should never be allowed to direct westerns.

Watched a couple episodes this year. They suck, too.

Not as bad as last year, but I don't really want to keep watching from year to year to see whether a show gets progressively better by the 100th episode.

Kind of like that Graceland show on USA for senseless bullshit.

Graceland was complete shit.

Longmire has had some decent ones but others encouraged me to grab the remote and tell the woman "Surfs up!"

Graceland is complete, utter, senseless bullshit... I'm not sure if I watch it for the same reason people rubberneck at car accidents. It really is bad. And I'll continue to watch.

Does the show follow the same general plot of the books? Any other books/authors in a similar vein?
You ever seen a cycling plumber who wrestles with small calves, forearms and neck? Didn't think so.

Dont know. Was going to read the books, but now I don't want to.

I near Raylan Givens on Justified, played by Timothy Olyphant, is pretty in line with the character in the books. Fire In The Hole, iirc.

Haven't read any of them, but it seems to have a book format. Would be better served to be done limey style-- double length, more dialog, and more character development.

Dunno. After a few episodes it seems good enough to watch and enjoy-- but given the actors and the plot, it really seems like it should be a really good instead of an ok show.

Zackly. The premise and cast should equal an awesome show. Especially on a&e, but it's not.

I find it frustrating now.
