It wasn't me. Shaggy and Sting. You can hear the words better for those of you not fluid in Ebonics.

If you still can't understand here are some of the words and a link to the rest

Honey came in and she caught me red-handed
Creeping with the girl next door
Picture this, we were both butt-naked
Banging on the bathroom floor
How could I forget that I had
Given her an extra key
All this time she was standing there
She never took her eyes off me

How you can give your woman access to your villa?
Trespass and a-witness while you cling to your pillow
You better watch your back before she turn into a killer
Let's review the situation that you caught up in a
To be a true player you have to know how to play
If she stay a night, convince her stay a day
Never admit to a word when she say
And if she claim, ah, you tell her, "Baby, no way"

You can read the rest here.

Wish I was there, but I heard him 3 times in concert including Woodstock. Nobody was even close as a guitarist or a performer, in my not too humble opinion.
YMMV

RIP to Pharoah Sanders who just died at the age of 81. I heard him play in a bar in Manhattan. He was great.

In 1969, they outsold the Beatles in Europe and would have been a big hit in America if guitarist Peter Green hadn't cracked up from too much LSD. I heard them at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 1969. They were really good.

Elvis in 1956

Here is the original by Big Mama Thornton 4 years earlier

Her version sold about a half million copies. Elvis made millions. She was interviewed a few days after Elvis' death in 1977, and asked "How do you feel that he made a fortune, and you got 100 dollars?' She replied, "I'm still here to spend my hundred dollars."

Here are the Beatles talking about meeting Elvis. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, Ringo speaks about how Elvis tried to get them banned in America because they were bad for the youth at 4:34

I heard these guys in a little club about the time this was broadcast on Swedish tv in 1968. A very pretty girl from my high school was a waitress there. All of a sudden, one of my friends blurted out, "Look at that guy on stage. He's staring a hole right through her ass." I actually got her into bed. How, I don't know. She didn't stay long. I didn't try to rape her. That's not my style. She did the same thing to a friend of mine, the president of our high school. She told him, "I'm gonna leave you for a cup of tea," and she did. She was what we called a cock tease, although it didn't occur to me then. With a lot of years, you get a little wisdom, if you're lucky.

Just sent this to a friend. Thought I'd send it to you fuckers. They outsold the Beatles in Europe in 1969 and would have made it big in America if their lead guitarist, Peter Green, hadn't cracked up from too much LSD.

They didn't make a penny on this song and gave it back to their record company to get out of their contract. It could have been a number one hit but was released 25 years later. You have to work, but you need a lot of luck in life. Ringo Starr of the Beatles said they had talent, but they also were lucky. Before they got a contract, people were laughing at them as they were driving up and down the M1 motorway doing gigs in England.
