Saw it on Dish last night.

Not half bad.

I thought it was utter shit unworthy of the name, "Conan". Try watch the original Conan the Barbarian again some time and then make a comparison.

Yes, there is no replacing the original with Arnold. You have to admit that this was better than 'Destroyer'.

I thought Jason Momoa was...ok. Great look, but he kills it when he opens his mouth.

The leading lady was ALL WRONG.

I thought whatshisnuts was an ok villain.

I halfway enjoyed it at the theater, but then found it completely unwatchable on DVD. Contrast that with the original Conan, that I make it a point to watch at least once a year.

BTW True Conan fans simply wipe Destroyer from their minds like Highlander 2.

Conan is a Cimmarian from the north, a proto Saxon-Dane. His skin is darkend by the sun not by genetics. They should have called the new Conan by another name. You don't have Denzel Washington play George Washington and you don't have Jeff Daniles play Malcome X.

They should have ade Conan Crown of Iron, it was to about Canan's troubled rule and his bastard son, Mamoa could have done that with Arnold as the man himself.

I thought that the new "Conan" didn`t look rugged enough.To much of a model look.The wife liked him (obviously).

Im' a HUGE fan of the original Conan movies (incl. the Destroyer), and I was prepared to hate the new one but it was actually pretty decent. It was more savage than the first, with more gore and mysogny, surprisingly enough.
