It's hard to understand what some people do to their dogs.

Was the dog feral or was it intentionally abused? Cause if it's the second, somebody has it comin'.

Having been attacked by a AmStaff, I have mixed (and probably irrational feelings) about the breed...but they receive untold abuse because of their reputation and shithead owners.

Fats...check out the nj link. dog was tossed down a 19 story trash chute by his owner.

We adopted a dog who was starved for the first few years of his life. He had been living with a rescue group that was trying to fatten him up for 2 months and at 55 lbs you could still see every one of his ribs. He's now a skinny-strong, 70-lb 10-year-old in great health, but he'll still try to eat anything that might be food.

This NJ dog was abused by a woman in the ghetto. Therefore, her supporters believe this is all a conspiracy to make her look bad.

What's the obsession with pitbulls these days? Every wannabe badass is getting dragged around by some pitbull mutt. What the hell is so great about these dogs? They're not smart. They're not cute. They're not easy to care for. What's the attraction? I feel like beating people with a brick in a sock when I hear them wax poetic about how awesome a breed it is and how misunderstood they are. There's nothing awesome or misunderstood about them. They're bred for their viciousness. I don't care how many babies you let them snuggle with, they're a menace that could go off at any moment. It's animal instinct. They're not human beings.

Best dogs I've ever been around were a border collie who followed me home after I noticed it was roaming the neighborhood and gave it some orange soda to drink. The other was a labradoodle that belonged to a client. Both were awesome personality dogs. Neither of them would require radical reconstructive surgery if they flipped out.

I like dogs and I despise ghetto queens with heart tattoos on their foreheads.

Whatever fucking scumbag did that to Patrick should be burned slowly at the stake. Anybody who could torture another living creature like that deserves the worst possible death.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

There's an Alabama Wind Chime joke in there somewhere.

Arms are the only true badge of liberty. The possession of arms is the distinction of the free man from the slave.

I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.

I love this picture. My rescue pit makes this same expression.

Some breeds have tendencies to certain behaviors, but just like humans, it is individual. My pit wouldn't hurt a flea, but I had a Blue Healer that had to be put down for viciously biting people. That is all beside the point. Whoever left this dog in this condition was evil. Evil. So wonderful that he got a second chance.

Patrick is so dignified that he even looks good in that ridiculous sweater. Hooray to everyone involved in his rescue.
