What's that? Not flexible enough in trunk, hamstrings, hips and ankles to properly move that weight overhead AND stay safely OFF your toes? Who cares? It's called 20% slop and just make sure you go faster NEXT time....and keep rocking the vibrams.

Holy shit, has this ever happened before????? @Fit taking credit for a real athlete's strength.
The programming is good. Travis Harrison placed third in the Georgia Sectionals, and he mentioned that he has followed it. He hit a 330 Clean, a 315 C&J, and got 1st/2nd in the metcon-style wods. He was pretty average in the run.
What the stupid fucking sheep failed to mention was that Travis Harrison was a defensive end at DII Valdosta State - this isn't some shitty podunk program, they won the DII National Championship in 2007. Travis was a specialist, an insect - or in terms of the real world, he had a real S&C program that has obviously prepared him for kicking ass at working out.

He was 5'8" and 215# - he didn't get that way from "kicking Fran's ass"

By their definition of Cultfit, we're all doing it too. You didn't know? You're just subbing box squats for med ball squats, deficit pulls for sumo high pulls, and barbell rows for muscle ups! And you've added a "strength focus" to Cultfit, which is also Cultfit (see SS & Louie Simmons' Cultfit seminars).
"Know that! & Know it deep you fucking loser!"

So how long before boxes that de-affiliate realize that they can keep calling themselves @fit and use the brand in their marketing and there's not a goddamn thing the @fitHQ can do about it?

But, but, but, I don't lay on the ground in a heap after a workout. I don't go shirtless and I don't rip my hands up doing pullups.

Am I still doing @fit without knowing it?

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when the S&C coach of the Florida Marlins has to explain to the owner that all his pitcher's have shot wrists and hands from sloppy thrusters and kippy pullups.

I have now somewhat read the @Fit MILO article. I have the following to report:

- written by one Adam Farrah of @Fit Middletown, IKFF level 1, @Fit level 1. Not sure if he is more or less qualified than former MILO author Lord Steven Shafley of Glorious Flint.

- A bunch of the standard regurgitated Couch BS.

- In an attempt to appeal to the MILO fag audience the article only uses pics of lean @Fit men, no andro chicks. He also tried to throw the following into the category of "What is @Fit?": 20 rep squats with 315lbs, 275lb curl with a thick bar, farmer's walks with heavy stuff, sandbag get-ups.

- One needn't worry about cardio if they WOD with enough intensity.

- @fit workouts measure progress. Recommended for MILO readers is Linda (which looking at it on the page is pretty damn light), Helen, Angie, Grace and 5 deadlifts at 275lbs + 10 burpees for 5 rounds.
@Fit did something revolutionary: it defined fitness. I won't go into all the particulars of how @Fit defines fitness and what it all means, but I'd refer you to the article "What is Fitness?"
- Another great quote:
In @Fit culture it's all about "the suck." The suck is the feeling you get around the middle of a workout when every cell in your body is screaming to stop. You're really uncomfortable, possibly scared you'll hurt yourself or have a heart attack
A lot of other bullshit but just the same old-same old.

Tell that to any Marine that has been in Iraq of Afghanistan.

Stupid fucking @fitters, always trying to make a simple workout seem like the second coming of Christ.

That's it, isn't? Nothing special, just a workout.

Their logo pisses me off. WTF is that? Why does the 'E' hang so low (Perhaps signifying the hernia you will get working out there)? Why is there a stupid crown dotting the 'S'? How does any of it tie into the meaning of "obsession"? And then the stupid gradient! Ughhh. So amateur.

Looks like another sheep has unintentionally been outed as lurking here:

Methinks that its possible that he is that strong and athletic because he was part of a D2 National Champion Football Program... I bet he does more than just CFFB.

Looks like I'm gonna have to cancel my subscription or write a nasty rebuttal letter to the editor of MILO. I refuse to pay money to read about Cultfit.

Apologies.
