Where is that RRG money anyway?
I was "asked" to contribute to the RRG by my affiliate owner. I requested a refund from HQ when I left and it was promptly returned. They tried to convince me that I might still need coverage because the commercial coverage that non-certified trainers (ie most CF trainers) carry will not cover me the way professional liability insurance would. I told them that I was a certified trainer and held professional liability insurance so it wouldn't be necessary.
I suppose if all the affiliates that left or were forced out asked for their money back (which is required by law to be returned) that might put a dent in the gin fund.
What I don't understand is that HQ requires affiliates to have insurance before they can affiliate. So, my little conversation told me two things:
1. CF knows that non-certified trainers cannot be adequately protected, but have encouraged folks to go out and sink their life savings into business ventures that are not able to be protected when all it would take to make the difference would be to earn an actual accredited certification (which costs way less than a grand and covers a lot more material such as how to not hurt people).
2. Accreditation of the CF cert (which they are working on with ANSI) combined with the RRG might protect them (who "them" is, is up for debate) before CF hits the mainstream (ie, health clubs) and everyone is walking around with fucked up shoulders, wrists, knees, etc and suing the crap out of their non-certifed trainers who think that calling themselves coaches will protect them from the big mean lawyers.
This is a current list of ANSI's accredited certification bodies:

I kind of doubt the CF cert is going to be up to par here.
Anyway, here's my andro offering. She comes up a lot when I look for instructional videos on you-tube. Turn your sound on, she has an accent.
