I doubt many of the Mom and Pop boxes could stand up next to places like these. If you are in a garage or storage locker with a rower and some bumpers how are you not going to get drilled by this?
This is at their corporate office in Canton Mass for Reebok Employees only. Great place right around corner from my old house btw. Biggest problem IMHO will be divisions between longtime douchebag @fitters training in "hardcore" black boxes and Bostonian Corporate Types who used feng shui and don't guzzle Beer after workouts with inked up chippies because they actually have work to return to or a family at home.

Flicker reveals some previous games competitors.
I actually think that Reebok's involvement has already driven down the level of coaching, if those pictures are representative. GD thrusters...so stupid.
Yeah, all of a sudden, the L1 trainer isn't in business for himself, basically, but is making a salary or an hourly wage. He's not paying for his own insurance anymore, and the level of coaching will come down to the lowest common denominator, i.e 20+% slop in movement, rather than moving upwards in quality.
I didn't look at the context, but if that's a clean, she's going to break her wrists if she keeps trying to catch like that. If it's a thruster, that's all the argument I need for why thrusters shouldn't be done. If that's a front squat, Lord have mercy. Either way, that's terrible coaching which should not even make it to the internets for mockery. That there was a room full of people with the same problem - somebody needs to get fired.
It looks like the photo was snapped just as she missed a squat clean. But I'm still not sure how you fuck it up quite so poorly ... unless you're being "trained" by a Level 1 "coach."
I met my first Level 1 "coach" the other day. She told me how much she loved the Olympic lifts. She had no experience with them whatsoever but was "coaching" people at her local box. Very upbeat gal. Dumb as a box of rocks though.
I asked a local affiliate owner who is on CFHQ "training team" (volunteer?) about Reebok just to be a dick. He was lead to believe that there would be two types of places...your @Fit/Reebok and your every day @fit affiliate and that Reebok understands and "appreciates" (his words) the affilaite system and will not be "allowed" to undercut the market. So Couch told Reebok not to undercut in the market for greater market share and Reebok said ok and that is it?
No way that's a missed clean. That's a thruster being done by someone who can't rack a bar properly combined with thoroughly fatigued thoracic muscles.
Hahaha. Even Romanov (of POSE fame) has sold out...he was a big advocate of shoes like these:
The Wave Universe 3 is considered a good update from Wave Universe 2 which Dr. Romanov loves.
The Pose Running technique goes against everything traditionally taught about running - accordingly, the running shoes suitable for it are not your traditional stably cushioned clunkers.
So wait, you're saying Romanov wouldn't be a fan of cushioned clunkers like these?
So what's he wearing here, when he's teaching POSE at Reebok @F One, you say?
Everybody join in on the SELL-OUT TRAIN!!!1!1!

Here's Romanov's sockpuppet/protege that posted on BChoke's site:

Hey guys. You’re correct. We (Dr. Romanov and I) put on the Zig shoes to be good sports during the demonstration. Please don’t read into it more than it is. No one is giving into anything. It did however, please the Reebok employees to see their shoes on us. So it was all in good fun, nothing more. You can run properly in any shoe, some are better than others, but bad shoes do nothing to hinder Dr. Romanov’s technique. No further analysis required.
This just fucks with everything. So the shoes don't matter now? Then why pimp for a low-heel shoe like all the POSE classes do and @FE does as well? Even this motherfucker backpedals like the rest of those assholes.

Could someone explain how Tamara Cohen is financing her midlife crisis? She says here she goes to three different affiliates--coming out to $470 a month--and she also drives hours and pays $$$ for private lessons with an Olympic lifting coach three times a week. Is Dr. Cohen really just working his ass off to fund her dilettante habits and internet crusades? What's she doing with her children for the hours she's working out and posting, is that what a nanny is for?

I would read into it you were either paid money to do this, it was part of the contract so the lawyers said do it, or both.
Proto, you can look at my log and know I'm weak as piss. And after 2 or 3 years of not going to the local globo gym I walked back in and the fuckers that were starting to do @fit when I left are still there and they aren't any fucking stronger.
Fuck me! I put up more in the clean and snatch my first weak than the fucking level 1 instructor that trains people there and I haven't even done the lifts in over year minimum. And I don't even want to get started on the horrible form.
And the husband and wife team that do @fit aren't really any stronger either since the husband is hurt all the fucking time and the wife won't hit the AAS so they've hit the ceiling.
How in the can you spend 3 years doing a training program with little or no gain over the past 12 to 18 months and think it's a good thing?

Hey guys. You’re correct. We put on the Zig shoes during the demonstration. Please read into it exactly what it is. We are giving in. It pleased our new masters to see their shoes on us. We swallowed our pride and ethics, among other things. You can run properly in any shoe, particularly ones that pay you money for wearing them. Dr. Romanov's technique is as unassailable as couch's work capacity. No further anal required...please.
