No, he's applauding.

This is obviously the end of a @fit Commitment Ceremony.

All the clappies.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Don't have the money to open your own box? (Because it costs $100,000 now to start, fuck that old build in it in your garage, that's so 2005)
So full of yourself that you know the @fit world can't do without you?

Well don't worry, you can just beg for the money on the internet:

http://www.indiegogo.com/ProjectAgerBomb
I’m ready to expand my contribution to the community that has given me so much. I have seen firsthand the difference that Crossfit can make in people’s lives and I want to be a bigger part of that difference. I want to open my own Crossfit gym to teach, to play, to train, and to empower those around me with health, vitality, and the self-confidence to know they can do it.

I need your help. I know equipment doesn’t come cheap, and space in LA even less affordable. I want this to be more than a gym though. I want this to be my home, a place I can always go to find my friends. I want my gym to be a total fitness experience where people don’t just come to WOD. They come to be a part of a community that is centered around healthy living. That means fun with friends inside and outside the gym. That means nutrition and education way beyond the basic mechanics of movement. That means social events, beach wods, hiking, running and hanging out. That means training together, competing together, succeeding together. That means using this gym as a platform to develop coaches, athletes, and absolutely anyone who wants to better themselves through fitness. And I’m sure that means 100 other things that I haven’t even discovered yet but that will come about as the natural product of me dedicating my time to sharing Crossfit with the world. I can’t do this without your help. Your contribution will mean the world to me. It is the magic that can make this happen.
$100,000 is a LOT of money, but I wanted to be realistic about how much it costs to open gym. I know several gyms that have opened in the $300,000 - $400,000 range (Really? A @fit gym?? That company in Ohio must be making a killing.) and although I’ll be working my butt off to make this gym as successful as possible and one day get facilities on par with those gyms I also understand that you have to start somewhere.
Anyone remember the September 2002 CFJ (available as a pdf) dedicated to the "Garage Gym" and how to start and grow with the basics?

What a wonderful sense of self esteem this young lady has. For 5 grand, she'll come to your "box" and lead a WOD. For 10 grand she'll come to your home and teach you about nutrition or not and cook you a meal. or just hang out with you. (I hope she has knee pads).

Seriously, where do these fucking people come from?????

That takes some serious fucking balls to ask for charity for a personal business....

She words it like its donating to the Children's Hospital or a Boys and Girls Club...

Its pretty goddamn narcissistic of her. Makes me sick actually.

Who in their right mind would pay 5-10 grand for a workout and a dinner? She needs a reality check.

Have you ever wondered what I eat?? Well get ready for me to invade your life and invade your kitchen with nutrition secrets, ideas, planning and cooking. I will spend an entire evening with you starting with a private training session at your gym, and cooking a paleo dinner for us at your house, with grocery shopping in between! This is just something crazy I'm throwing out there, if you want to play chess and order pizza that's cool too. (No I won't eat the pizza!) LOL!
For $10,000!!!!! That's fucking outrageous!!!!!

What planet is she living on? That's a genuine, legitimate, jaw-dropping piece of fucking cheek right there. Fuck

Srsly. I mean, great, you know, you have a business plan, whatevs, maybe you'll make money, so if I give you 10K I expect, like, a stake in the business, not your Scientological theories about why I shouldn't eat wheat.

So she packed up everything moved to Kalifornia to chase a dream... sounds familiar...

A little further north in San Fernando something like 80% of all porn films are made, I bet she could turn some coin up there and get this off the ground by herself

That whole website is incredibly interesting to me from a psychology standpoint.

She has a very limited training background (high school sports and 1.5 years of Crossfit) and zero culinary background, yet she's asking $5,000 for a training session and $10,000 for making a paleo dinner.

Just for context, you can hire Kerri Strug or Barry Sears for a personal appearance in the same price range.

I had a friend on convention boards... you could get real movie stars for that money, instead of some nobody exerciser.

Well, for things like $200, you get 10 sessions, or $600 is three months at the gym, and that's where the mass of the contributions come from. I don't think it's worth it, but it is the price scale you see at CF gyms. What I don't understand are the people chipping in $25 - you don't get anything back, you're just donating to somebody's small business. That is mind-blowing. I mean, if she had a mission to like reach out to at-risk youth or whatever even though it's a for-profit business, sure, whatevs, but this is just a straight-up business.

EDIT: Okay, so let's look at this. One person bought the $1000 comm. package, which is three months at the gym and a bunch of stupid knick-knacks. I think this is stupid, dishing out 100 more for the 6-month membership is a better deal, though it's still a bad deal. 1 person pitched $250 and gets a hoodie - what?! 2 purcahsed a $200 10-pack of classes. The shocking this is the 10 people who ponied up $100 for a t-shirt and the dubious honor of giving away their money to fund a private enterprise. At least a couple of the people are getting something back for their money.

Jeez guys, cut her a break! Its not like she can word her proposal as "Give me your money and I will fuck you." The guy that thinks she is being literal is in for one hell of a shock when she shows up at his doorstep.

Jesus, do these people not have FRIENDS? She's practically begging people to hang out with her only, they have to pay HER to do it!

What is with these dipshits needs for acceptance? "Please come hang out with me! We will all eat the same stuff! We will find unity and vitality in our workouts! We will finally have a place to hang out !!!!"

Fuck off with that crap. Go the gym. Get it done. Go home.
"Know that! & Know it deep you fucking loser!"
