Re: The couch thread
The whole thing with calling things gay has gotten contrived and stupid.

Let's clarify then. I eat well most of the time and will be devouring a pizza here shortly. I shan't be saying I'm going out for a cheat meal.Fat Cat wrote:I disagree. I designate a couple of meals a week to enjoying any old crap, and the rest of the time I WFR it. I don't see why that's effeminate for someone who needs to watch their weight.stosh wrote:Check the dood who said pancakes are a cheat meal.
Any dood who has 'cheat meals' is kweer.
Similarly, sometimes in the winter I get some dry skin on my hands. I may put some Corn Huskers on them, yet I'll not say aloud that I'm moisturizing.
As to your sensitivity to calling things ghey...whatever floats your balloon.

That's the funny part, it's as if the twinks think they're all hyooge and shit. That is not me defending bush, just some santa hatted assclown with a similar last name.Gin Master wrote:And WTF is "too skinny to be a CrossFitter" mean?Sofa King wrote:So coop, was that you defending W in that thread?
And why was that thread sent to the Bucket? There are far better examples of inane posting over there.
This reinforces the "hair-trigger" rep those MOD's got.
I stumbled across this site called the monahan institute today. The guy who writes it used to be funny and train hard, now he is a yoga instructor or some shit. Anyway, he was talking about how @fitters know about the breach but i'm not seeing anything on the board. I wanted to see a defensive response from the higher ups or at least some rabblerabble from the sheep.

Seems I've now officially been banned from the forums for "unethical behavior and integrity issues".
At least I didn't violate Federal law....
They seem to think my beef is with Glassman or the CrossFit philosophy. It isn't. Glassman has a great thing going, and I will admit it right up front, I drink the kool-aid when it comes to the methodology of CrossFit. Glassman has set himself up an affiliate fitness empire that is unrivaled. I mean count the affiliates and multiply that by $1,000. Look at all those certifications, thats ~60 people per cert x $1,000, so $60,000 almost every weekend! Thats over $3 million a year just in level one certs. Hell, they took the Microsoft principle of licensing and applied it to fitness certification. I applaud them!
They can hang me out to dry all they want. It was their moderators fault I was given access to that section of the forum. Glassman likes to put things out in public when it is something he doesn't like. Well maybe this will cause a little powwow between him and his forum moderators, because its about time. That board has become the house of the internet lazy. People refuse to look up information on their own now.
I don't drink the kool-aid of personal opinion interjection into moderation. Rules are rules. You enforce the rules on a forum, you don't threaten to close whole sections of a forum or talk about people just because you don't like them. Make a rule, if someone violates it, great, do something. If nobody does, keep your mouth shut or warn people when they are getting close.
Look, I'm an asshole military pilot. I have to keep my ass alive daily teaching future pilots how to fly. My shit is in the street constantly and its left in the debrief, after the beer comes out, we let bygones be bygones. But I have a feeling this shit will go on and on. Fine, it will go on and on without me. I don't need drama over their screw up and their overbearing attitude to someone blowing the whistle on their "hidden" behavior.
I don't care enough to try and fight them.

Re: The couch thread
This thread has accomplished something today: I am totally hungry as hell for pancakes now and will eat them for desert following my three burger (all with their very owns buns) dinner. How many carb blocks will that be?

and don't forget the pure maple syrup for the win. Aunt Jemimah can kiss my lilly white ass.

Re: The couch thread
Considering its my mediafire account, and the fact I'm now banned for it on the CF forums, I'd say thats pretty much enough evidence. Also my name appears in the logged in portion of one of the screenshots.Gary John wrote:Gonna call bullshit on the claim. Before I accept it, need something besides "it was me".
I meant to give Greg Glassman about the whole thread. Just want to sit down with him, watch him drink a few beers and mend fences. I figure about a case or so in, he might just get coherent.
Re: The couch thread
Ya the people I told knew I was accidentally given access. Sorry, I don't know how to hack anything. I was suspended and given permissions on accident concerning the gay thread. Blame the CF mods for that one, wasn't my fault they don't know how to give permissions correctly.

have you ever been as far as even considered go want to do look more like?

Re: The couch thread
I don't think the mods are the problem with that board, its the people for who CF is a religion. Everyday the forum is a battlefield of good vs evil, with legions of moonies trying to smack the stupid out of n00bs, doubters and heathens.
OTOH, Couch didn't help matters by sticking to his ridiculous claims - like CF packs on more mass than bodybuilding - which only served to provide constant ammunition for trolls.
