Also, how are you glossing over foreign intelligence help? When Bush's people got video of Gore's debate prep, they turned it over to the FBI.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Trump’s campaign chairman in his dealings with a GRU spy...
The Republican-controlled Senate panel said it was hampered in its search for the truth by the fact that Kilimnik and Manafort kept their communications secret. They used burner phones, encrypted chat services, and frequently changed email accounts. They also messaged via a shared email draft.
This is a guy Trumps campaign chair gave internal polling data to.

If Hillary were elected should she have been impeached for illegally purchasing foreign opposition research?

Her campaign money paid for the Steele/Russian dossier. She solicited, accepted, and received something of value from a Brit and Russians, which according to an important personage who should know, is 100% illegal.

Ellen Weintraub head of FEC in 2019 via Vox
Weintraub tried to clarify: “Let me make something 100% clear to the American public and anyone running for public office: It is illegal for any person to solicit, accept, or receive anything of value from a foreign national in connection with a U.S. election.”

The Steele Dossier can be completely 100% refuted, and still it is plain as day that there were tons of interaction between Russian intelligence and the Trump campaign.

The Trump campaign manager and the GRU spy used spy tradecraft to hide their interactions. That is orders of magnitude worse than paying a Brit for a dossier, that was initially paid for by conservatives.

Trump dictating a lie to his son about the Trump Tower meeting where he met with Russian intel operatives while riding on Air Force One is far worse.

Kushner asking to use the Russian Embassy secure communications is far worse.

Engaging with these two makes the board worse.

Just mock them.

They're crushingly boring.

And not because they're shitlibs

It's just the most basic conventional wisdom tier analysis.

Hey Benny, here’s a conspiracy theory for you, but it is different from yours, in that it is probably true.

- Putin has dirt on Trump
- Trump let Putin help him get elected, and welcomed it
- Trump now does stuff for Putin

The Trump administration has taken a far, far harder line with Putin's Russia than Obama ever did. How do you reconcile that with your theory?

Increasing US production of natural gas, depressing the price of Russia's primary income source
Discouraging Germany's pipeline from Russia
Providing lethal aid (Javelin antitank missiles) to the Ukraine, a change from the Obama administration
Killing as many as 200 Russian mercenaries in Syria

A better take on Russian interference is that Russia simply wanted to create turmoil. Period.
It succeeded with the collusion of the gullible media.
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

I'm convinced Trump will easily win. Bigger than last time.

I' worried about the House and the Senate.

In 1972 Nixon won a landslide and it didn't carry over to the House (+12?) or the Senate (loss of 1?).

Trump could lose the Senate and not regain the House.

He's out within 2 yrs if that's the case.

Kneecapping NATO
Giving Syria over to the Russians, leaving our Kurd allies hanging
Trying to get Russia back into the G7
Sitting back while Russia puts bounties on our soldiers and marines
No punishment for interfering with our elections, and in fact covering for him
Threatening to leave Ukraine swinging in the breeze

It was good that we killed off a bunch of mercs in Syria, there’s that.

I agree Russia mostly wants chaos. Trump delivers.

Benny, here's another conspiracy theory for you, Q-related but also probably true.

QAnon is a Russian intelligence operation designed to create chaos by taking advantage of stupid people's willingness to believe batshit crazy stuff.

Possible. Do you actually think that? Or are you being "clever" and trying to "own" me?

Q is pro-Bibi faction and zionist and Bibi and Putin are bros.

I know you like to think through things and not take the CW at face value or impose you animosity for other whites onto your view of the world so I'd be curious as to why you would think this.

Your thinking is admirably outside the box of the ACELA corridor hive mind.

DICK FUCKIN' ARMITAGE?! If you trust the people who brought us Afghanistan, Iraq II, Libya, and Syria, you're not on the right side. Trump has been president for four years, has kept us out of wars, tried to make peace with enemies, and has not marched us into another senseless war: in short, it makes perfect sense that these types see him as a threat to the defense-industrial complex.
