This is where some confusion lies. There are fighters, and people who fight. Of course CF will make your martial endeavors better, but they will not make getting punched in the face any better. Guy in my gym was mouthing off to some huge strength power guys who were finishing up an 45 min long leg session with BB curls. Guy (curler) walked over and with no warning shoved this guy (cfer) to the floor and when he got up hit him one time in the face and left him on his ***. Now the crossfitter in question here has a big total, shaved head and some ink,fast Fran and even faster Helen and does some BJJ. None of that made him immune from a beating. I think a lot of the bluster online gave him a false sense of security. I only wish I had had a video camera with me because it was a great cautionary tale.

Dano, I tend to agree with you here. Do we know what's up with the kids i.e. is she the custodial parent? I get the impression she is not. If so maybe the evolving roommate situation is not as significant but it's still weird though. If the kids are living with dad he's perfectly within his rights to go apeshit over the kids being constantly exposed to strangers in a living environment which he has no control over. A parent has enough shit to worry about besides that bullshit. My youngest son who has custody of his 8 year old boy let his ex have him for his weekend visit back in July...she doesn't return him and she runs off to somewhere in Iowa and is living in a house with like 8-10 other dudes. Police were involved...complete chaos. My son was in a fucking murderous rage but kept his cool for the four weeks or so his son was gone. He finally got him back and she's lost all parental rights. That cunt including the ex's parents have the nerve to complain that my son won't let them see him now while all along they were playing crazy to him the court and police saying they didn't know where she was when she took off. There are some sorry sons-a-bitches in this world.

One thing almost any state's court system will do is take away the parental rights of a parent who kidnaps their kid away from the other parent.

Hi all, I've been a lurker here, and I think this thread is hilarious. Like many of you, I think CrossFit offers some useful conditioning applications, but not much more.

I'm not sure if I posted this image correctly, but it's the mainpage CrossFit picture for Halloween, and there are CrossFitters overhead squatting pumpkins. Why do they overhead squat so many things? Has this silliness ever been addressed?
