Interesting phrase posted on the affiliate site today...a CF Book of World Records...I think this is a great idea...maybe an online record book of validated achievement. Anything from the biggest med ball clean circle to most double unders in 10 minutes or most consecutive burpees...
logsitall might be a good place for this, but there would need to be evidence that the claims are legit.
Any thoughts?

Come on Barky, go for some records. Start a circle jerk then a train fuck. Double under a few and come up burping.

Some suggestions from the OP:JohnnyBadAss wrote:For when the outside world doesn't give a shit about your "achievements"...
Another chance to show off their mediocrity. There are already WRs for:Fastest rx'd named WOD's
Most consecutive Muscle Ups, Pull Ups, HeSPUs
Tallest "Box Jump" (could be tires or any apparatus)
Best Tabata Squat score
Consecutive Double Unders
Most Burpees in 1 min
pull-ups: Stephen Hyland (GBR, 2009), 493 dead hang chins in 30 minutes
burpees: 15 min: 470, 19 Feb 1992, Stocks, Birmingham WR
HSPUs: Mako Sakomoto (1960s), 163 consecutive full range freestanding handstand pushups on parallel bars
double-unders: Can't find this one because double-unders are a @F focus; nobody that trains with a rope starts with this. Anybody old school boxer or wrestler can beat the shit out of the best @F jumper. Start with Mayweather.

Back on the food quality post from Robb Wolf another comment from him -
Nice, considering the Back Squat singles put up by HQ today.Chef-
Good word and thank you. I HOPE HQ sees that food quality matters. They have not embraced that linear progression is beneficial for building stronger athletes. Stronger athletes dominate CrossFit….and limit singles are not the best/only way to get there…

Gin Master, had to steal the records thingy and post it on @fit. See if it stirs up anything.

If they videotape the attempts at this, they could singlehandidly put America's Funniest Home Videos out of business. Jackasses faceplanting into tires = EPIC WIN.Gin Master wrote: Some suggestions from the OP:

@Fers can't jump like real athletes...
Over and done. Can't @Fers get it through their head that their training isn't geared towards being able to set records in anything, other than in the rate of inducing chronic fatigue, injuries, and delusions of grandeur?

Not everyone there is completely retarted.I can't decide if I would beat the **** out of you with a wooden bat, my bare hands, or an Eleiko bar (since it has a good warranty) if you did that in my place.
While you probably can't lift anything heavy enough to damage a tile floor if dropped, crapping on somebody's equipment and facilities is poor form. Arrogant, entitled *******es like you make it harder for other CFers to train in main stream gyms.
Re: The couch thread
Singles are a great way to build strength, but Cultfit HQ even managed to fuck that up b/c just yesterday, all the Cultfitters smoked their quads ("as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes" of a circuit including either 15 squats or 10 pistols). Doing limit singles today with pre-exhausted legs is sabotaging their attempt to improve limit strength.RPC wrote:Back on the food quality post from Robb Wolf another comment from him -

Re: The couch thread
If you want to keep your hate strong then by all means visit the Cultfit forums.
But I must warn you my friends that the stupidity will over power your higher brain functions.
When I gave up on the forums my anger level dropped significantly and when I quit visiting the main page and limited myself to a few Cultfit sites that actually have some sense my anger level very nearly bottomed out.

Thread is shit (apparently they did the Crossfit workout AFTER 4 hours of boxing training?), except for Pendlay's reply:Check it out -- recently we, at CFLA, were visited by Leyon and his brother Leroy. They were both collegiate football players and are currently training to be heavyweight boxers. They train in a gym almost 6 hours every day. This is a video of their FIRST ever CrossFit workout, and then Andy and Jonesy's effort at the same workout a few days later. For them, simply getting through the workout was an accomplishment... lets just say that they severely underestimated CrossFit!

They are training for boxing? Wonder what would happen if you boxed with them? just askin'
and, just for the record, never ever want to get crossways with a boxer... yes i am a wussy when it comes to people hitting me, I just dont like it.

It's unfortunate that people don't realize that a 41" or 45" or 50" box jump doesn't equate to a 41", 45", or 50" vertical leap. Two completely different ball games.Kraj wrote:The latest examples of CrossFit excellence:

Of course, that post is from Gant Grimes. Guys like him and Jay Cohen really have nothing in common with the CrossFit ideology anymore.Sword wrote:This reply to his was pretty good:

Gayest thing I have seen for a while. No funny captions needed because the original is such a fucking joke. I love the guys whose only problem with this design is that it has too many colors to print a shirt with.
