Burn After Reading

Post by johno »

Funny, Coen Brothers style.

Edit: Dark & twisted...sort of like Couch's undies.
Lots of clueless & unlikeable people, some of them get what they deserve. Great acting and a twisty plot & some surprises. The best lines come from the CIA bigwig...he was played by the character actor from Oz, the white supremacist badass.

No tits, no Kung Fu, no memorable car crashes, and very little gunplay.
No machines that transform into monsters. Sorry, Jeek.
But there is one pretty memorable machine.
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

But there is one pretty memorable machine.
I saw this in a small movie theater in Kennilworth, a very white bred suburb. Absolutely laughed my ass off, and was the only person in the theater laughing.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Didn't like it, too cartoonish.
