Anyone who doesn't love Lucas has a real f**kin attitude problem.
I hate Lucas and I could barely read 3 sentences of that crap. :die: So you need a new "sport" to fill the void and you've hit rock bottom. Good for you.

I stumbled on this and honestly thought in was a dude. I was thinking how his boyfriend must love that mouth jewelry on his cock. It's a chick?!? Getting ridiculous when a cautionary tale about the andro dangers on performance enhancers turns into a celebration!

Switching gears. I see that the RRG head cheerleader is shopping insurance
don't think we're "normal". I tried this week to get a quote for new insurance coverage and got denied by Philadelphia Insurance because CrossFit is too "extreme" and they only insure "middle of the road" fitness facilities.

No, we're not normal. We're not out-of-shape, lazy, average "middle of the road" Americans. No wonder we have a health care crisis!

I've been thinking about it. I guess the big issue with CFFB is Welbourn's proximity bias. He doesn't seem to be able to explain himself clearly, because, as a legit, elite athlete, he can't understand the needs of a normal dude

From the SFCF blogpost:
Dizzle Cafaro is actually the man who suggested I try Crossfit in November of 2007. By that time I was 235 pounds and would probably have clocked a 3min 500m row in my condition. I have to say that my first experience was intimidating (I told JD I wouldn’t go until he came with me), and eye opening as to how out of shape I was. I was sweating bullets and out of breath doing 1 rep max front squats with 155 pounds. My 2nd WOD was Fran w/ a blazing time of 12 mins with ripped hands to boot. I can honestly say I drank the SFCF kool-aid that night and could instantly realize I had found something that could deliver me from several months of terrible pain that had effected how I walked, being able to sit for long periods of time, or even sleep for more than an hour at a time without waking up because of the pain.
Oh don't worry, the pain will come back in a decade or two.

The average CrossFitter's first workout: <<<<q -> :vom: -> :drinkers:

Unfortunately, there was no PVC-lifting smilie.

That I know of there's...
- The 24 categories and subforums on the main page.
- The Affiliate board.
- The Moderator board.
- The old Pukie board.

No idea what the other two are, but there's three extra ones for you. After a thread has sat in Pukie for long enough, they move it to the secret Pukie (full of memory holes by that point) so that guys like us can't dig through there for laughs.

If you really want to find out what the other two boards are, you could always try to find a program that can do a brute force attack and potentially get you into a Moderator's account. It'd take a long time, the 5 login-attempt limit may make it impossible, and I've never tried so I can't recommend a program, but that's the only real way of getting in if you want to. I'd recommend staying away from the accounts of Lynne Pitts or "Coach," since if you did manage to get in, they might find out and there might be shit to pay, even though it'd be funny as hell. I'd say Ron Wilhelm (sp?) might be account account, since he does all the tech stuff for the boards, but he might not actually have Moderator board access.

If you do give it a shot, be sure to record things if you get it. "Greenshot" is a good freeware program that'll autosave screenshots for you.

LOL holy fucking shit. Those are some good ideas, but it would not be hard for them to see exactly where their accounts were accessed from. I am not going to touch that web page with a 10 foot andro-penis.

The reason I had said 29 is because there are 29 forums that you can either access or it says you can't access; and 30 or over specifies an invalid link.

Meets on Saturdays... practice Tuesday through Friday... long run on Sunday
Tuesday is usually hills and speedwork, Wednesday 5-8 mi easy, Thursday tempo run, Friday easy; however, this can vary but usually Tuesday and Thursday are tough, Saturday obviously pretty taxing, and the other days easy (although Sunday is a long run it is meant to be a recovery day/easier paced run), Mondays off.
This sounds similar to my old high school CC schedule (which led to overuse injury fyi). Running 20+ miles a week is outdated and frankly irresponsible. But anyway, back to your dilemma.
Where the fuck do people get this stupid information? Show me one successful runner that has got by on less than 20 miles per week, and then show me one successful runner that gives two shits about their squat, press or deadlift either.

That second one was supposed to be a PM to Fish. Hahah, whoops. Lynne's probably going to be hella pissed when she reads that one. Anyway, I'm pretty damn certain that Moderators only have access to the IP's of people who post (it appears right under the box with their username, avatar, etc.). Users who don't post or logins aren't accessible through any of the message board features I've ever seen, though website owners may be able to contact their website host and find out. As long as you didn't actually fuck with anything though (just used it to read) no one would ever noticed you got on.

I remember that when George Mounce got access to the admin boards, he had to make sure he was continuously refreshing a page in one of the other forum sections so that it didn't place him as "Users browsing this forum" in the Moderator section. Unfortunately, I don't think a fluke like his is ever going to happen again. The suspension group was actually a brand new usergroup created just for Derek Maffete (sp?) and George Mounce after the "Gay CrossFitters" thread. I believe Kelly Moore put it together and she didn't do the settings right. She gave the usergroup viewing priveleges in all boards, but posting in none.

It was real stupid that he got caught anyway. He accidentally left his login name showing on the very last page of that document he put together. He realized this error before the moderators did, but didn't care enough about his presence on those boards to go and delete the file then post an updated version.

Anyway, if anyone wants to try, it's possible, it'd just be real annoying. The whole brute force method of password hacking is basically just guessing every single possible letter combination possible, using an automated program to do it for you. However, there are preloaded word libraries you can use so that you don't have to go "a... b... c... etc... aa... ab... etc..." Unfortunately, those libraries are useless if the person uses either numeric substitutions or gibberish like "23oiuswl" as a password). Ten bucks says Couch's password is "Safeway Gin" anyway.

In absolutely coincidental news, while visiting home just a few hours ago my dad told me about a story he read in the newspaper about some crazy bitch who hired a hacker to get her the passwords for her boyfriend's email, his wife's email, his children's email, and his other girlfriend's email, so that she could start fucking with their lives. It was only $100 per password too.

This is the website the article named, but it seems to have been taken down now. Not surprising. http://www.yourhackerz.com/

Interesting thread:

http://www.board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=50755

Lynne notes that I have never been banned. I'm not sure why my account doesn't work and my log ins fail. Since I know the community reads this page, please contact me at [email protected] with my correct information. I don't know where I lost Lynne's email information...it must be on another account.

I just did a "Find Posts by User" advanced search for "Dan John", "Danny John", and "Daniel John", just for S&Gs. Message back is:
1. Invalid User specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator
There is no member on that board that their own search engine can find. Hmmm.

Dan, I think I've seen your name on some of the older threads there, and you're listed as an "N/A" user. I think that means your account was deleted. I guess that's better then being banned for "Serious Breeches of Integrity and Trust" or whatever title Mounce got.

You can see this thread for an example:
http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=440

As always, good article. Makes me chuckle to see an ad for Biotest L-Leucine on the right sidebar of the page though.

Strictly speaking, as far as I know, I am also not banned -- however, every time I post it has to be approved by a moderator before it appears, my sig does not display, and I can't access my control panel. My feeling is that they may try to avoid actually banning people in many cases, especially more prominent users, because then they'll appear as "banned" and people ask questions about why.

Well, if I am banned, I have no problem with that. The fact that I am banned, yet I am not banned, puts me back into my Far Eastern Philosophy course with Doctor Kulkarni. Oddly, that class helped me with the hammer throw, so maybe this is one of those tricks to improve performance.

Today's stupid workout, courtesy of Brian Mackenzie's Facebook page:
24, 12, 6, 3 reps of 225 Back Squat and Burpees.
That's damn near maximal effort for 45 reps for your average @Fer.

I have heard he had done some pretty low, intense mileage, but he also didn't count a lot of the easy warmups and cooldowns that would have upped his supposed mileage.

Besides, he was a short distance runner in track. That is a lot different than training for a 5/10k or half-marathon/marathon.

does anyone know why he ( dan) had his account deleted from the crossfit message board?
........and the thread is locked. Gotta keep things hush-hush.

Makes you kind of wonder what stupid shit is being spewed on the moderator's forum right now. Lynn (Stinky-)Pitts had gotten a little defensive.
